There' is a difference on the 3rd gen versions, they have a microphone socket on the top!! I also heard the lens is not as wide angle on the 3rd gen ones!

Thanks for the review. For price, I'm thinking about the Vado HD and the Kodak ZM1, which are both under 50 euro. Vado is higher res, but the Kodak has expansion possibilities. I notice in your review that things were dark until the camera closed the distance. So it's low light luminosity is not high, I see - I don't know how the Kodak is in comparison. I also don't know which is better for hand shake - that is, which, if either,stabilizes even slightly. It's hard to know if the price is low.

frankly when i switched from 360p to 720p the difference was unnoticable.but nice room tho =)

how long does it take for you to upload your videos to youtube from the Vado HD for a certain file size? My Vado takes a really long time to upload to the internet. Is this normal? What do you recommend so that my upload time would be faster? Does my computer specifications matter or is it all dependent on my internet connection speed?

AWESOME dude, better than any review, the best "review" is a nice 3-5 min test run like this so the viewer is the judge on whether they like it or not.

Looking at the fliphd and vado. Chris Parillo says the vado is better, but he is the only one. Seems everyone else goes for the fliphd.

do you know is any pocket cams has a mic jack?

the 3rd gen Vado will have a mic jack, but I can't find any info on when it will be released
