  • thanks this really helps, your pretty good at this , <3

  • I love the way that you teach and your voice is really sweet =)

  • This video brings back many memories for me from when I started dancing and learning the neck movements. My guru used the very same technique where we put our fingers by our eyes. And I definitely remember starting off with moving by entire body instead of my neck in the Alarippu...haha....Anyways, it's really a great video and it's definitely very helpful for those who are just starting out. Keep it up! :)

but couldnt do it at all

any tip so i can do it

    i really wanna learn this

    but cant do it

  • @the147break , Keep working on it. It may take about 6mnths to a year for a beginner student to be able to do it effortlessly. You can try looking at the mirror and practice.

  • @nandananjali The ardharmmi is also used in Odissi, but there are neck and face movements that are used along with tribhangi bheda in Odissi. So, thus, this rule is mostly applicable in Bharatanatyam. Odissi is different.

  • Anjali,At the time i didn't hv a bharatantyam teacher in my city, i watched ure videos and started learning

  • thank you so much, i have been looking for some instruction on these movements for quite some time!

  • Thanks. This is helpful and very informative. I enjoy watching your videos and relearning bharatnatyam. Now I have a chance to completely learn this dance style.

  • Thank you MYang487. My video are just for reference. You must have a teacher to correct you.
