Sounds like a Playstation game music, when compared with MAGISTRAL original OST. The guitar solo, although beautiful, has nothing to do with the music. The original OST evokes a feeling of tenseness, blind rage, anguish and revenge. This new version evokes a Final Fantasy's final boss battle. It might sounds fantastic to 15yo boys who think Evangelion is just a darker version of Gundam Wing.
