Great movie. Brings back good old memories. I was 11 years old when I watched it in the cinema. The original is a thousand times better then the remake, as usual.
So, finally got around to seeing the new Karate Kid and was really pleased to find out that it was the story all about how Jaden Smith's life got flipped upside down. You see, he was chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool. Shooting some b-ball outside of his school, when a couple of guys (Who were up to no... good) started making trouble in his neighbourhood, He got in one little fight & his mom got scared & said "You're going to learn kung-fu from the maintenance man downstairs"
What a movie, that is something I am talking about, yea! it is totaly stunning and genius from start to finish, it transports you to another world and gives you the chance to imagine full of time! This is a top performance with man of amusing moments. Watch it out on 'daving info'.. Totaly recommended film!!!!!!!

This is one of my favorite movies of the 80's. Ralph Macchio, Pat Morita and Randee Heller were just brilliant. Oh and I loved Elisabeth Shue, especially her character. Unfortunately, nowadays stupid girls prefer brainless muscular ill-bred playboys with rich cars & zero personality. Sad, very sad. The Karate Kid was wonderful and so realistic film! I miss the 80's

This is the ultimate movie for any kid who struggled to fit in at a new school, or even worse in a new city, and always got bullied by those bigger/more popular than them only to come out on top in the end. Easily one of the greatest films ever made!
I felt like I was on a fun roller coaster ride for free on kookíca and have no regrets in the least of seeing this movie I had a great time watching it... although I didn't expect the movie to be what it was potrayed as just by the previews...at the end i loved it...
And I'm glad that director decided to remember that "show don't tell" is only really a Koan, not a rule, because everyone in my theatre applauded at the end so maybe we'll get more movies like this, because I love stories like this. I will see it again on kookíca definitely.

This film make me look the death so beautiful. I can say, I'm not afraid anymore. I saw it at filmsi.co.cc. It's such a shame that so many people hated this film, I think it was pure genius.

This is one of my favorite movies of the 80's. Ralph Macchio, Pat Morita and Randee Heller were just brilliant. Oh and I loved Elisabeth Shue, especially her character. Unfortunately, nowadays stupid girls prefer brainless muscular ill-bred playboys with rich cars & zero personality. Sad, very sad. The Karate Kid was wonderful and so realistic film! I miss the 80's

This is the ultimate movie for any kid who struggled to fit in at a new school, or even worse in a new city, and always got bullied by those bigger/more popular than them only to come out on top in the end. Easily one of the greatest films ever made!
