@hahnessbabi There is now Tanpopo#, which consists of Eri, Aika, Yurina, and Chisato. I don't know if you can really call it a fourth generation, though, since all of the sub-groups got rebooted and most of them don't include any of their previous generations' members.

Ayumi Shibata is a member of the Hello! Project called Melon Kinenbi ^-^ She did audition for Morning Musume for 2nd Generation but didn't make the cut so the producter place in Melon Kinenbi which is anesome group too XD

Yes, this is Hello Project. It was a subgroup of Morning Musume, along with Mini Moni and Pucchi Moni.

This particular video, however, is a special case because it was the only song released by this line-up. If you search for other songs by Tanpopo, you'll see different girls singing in different styles. It can be confusing if you're not familiar with Morning Musume's generations.

She was too tall to be in Mini Moni. Since it had been founded by Yaguchi Mari, you had to be 145 cm or shorter to be in Mini Moni.

As cute as this is, I'm glad they broke up Tanpopo. Tanpopo was supposed to be the "mature" group-- which died in 2nd generation and just completely rolled over in its grave in 3rd generation.

Tanpopo wasn't the "mature" group — they were the "elegant" group. If first generation Tanpopo seemed mature, it's because Morning Musume as a whole was more mature then. Think back to "Summer Night Town" and "Daite HOLD ON ME!"
