But I don't think the fact that the game is Japanese is an excuse. the Korean game Mabinogi had a dark skinned choice even before it came to NA, as well as the Chinese Perfect World. and even so, the american company could have easily just make a skin tone choice.

Well, this game is based after japanese-anime style. Not trying to be racist, but in anime you don't see many races besides japanese.(Plus the game DOES take place in post-apocoliptic Tokyo x.x)

There is an American release of the game that has everything translated to English, though you can still view the Japanese text when changing maps, and in some of the back ground areas.

How good is this games combat? I read that you can befriend demons and all that, but would you say it's easier to handle then most mmos or harder?

If you're used to games like ragnarok, and flyff then this will be a new experience for you. Combat is fairly slow paced early game because of the skill system, but as you level up it becomes more and more hectic as not only your pace increases, but also that of enemy demons. The game also allows you to have full control over your "partner" demon which adds an extra dimension to game play.

The game allows you to trade in coin macca (the game currency) for paper macca at a rate of 50k per piece. Each stack of paper macca can hold a total of 100 pieces of paper macca, bringing the true max you can hold up to 250Billion. ^_^ I hope that answered your question
