  • I am a firm believer in the people. If given the truth, they can be depended upon to meet any national crisis. The great point is to bring them the real facts.

    - Abraham Lincoln

If we could first know where we are, and whither we are tending, we could then better judge what to do, and how to do it. - Abraham Lincoln

  • now THAT is what i call objective journalism

    /sarcasm

  • Assange is smart but he is also very moody and imotional. His mood swings can cause dangerous happenings to happen if not controlled.

  • Good thing Assange has his head on his shoulders. He answered some tuff questions well.

  • This journalist, has no right to represent what America thinks of Julian. Everyone I know in America thinks he should be getting the nobel prize. Journalism in America is reduced to public relations personnel, they take what government wants citizens to believe, and they publish it or air it. If you want to get to the truth, you can not find it in mainstream media in USA. Thank you Julian for standing up for the truth. This is what some Americans think of Julian, a hero.

  • See the Biggest Assault to our Parental Rights See on this site ...............Documentry .................Deconstructing America

  • I like this intelligent, logical thinking, brilliant mind. He is a hero and a real treasure in this chaotic, truthless, world - a beacon of sanity and fair justice in the darkness of evil.

  • Kill this worthless piece of shit. He is responsible for the deaths of people around the world who help the US and their allies. He said that Afghan civilian that helps coalition forces deserves to die. That makes him a enemy combatant. Kill him now.

  • @GIspecialty kill assange, of course drones of empire would say such a things. the facts: the US corporations/military/cia complex has killed hundreds of thousands of innocents in Iraq, Afghanistan, et al. In fact post ww2 this complex has backed dictators, overthrown democracies(e.g Iran's in 1953) in third world countries world wide for the sake of the multinational corporations & aided, abetted or directly killed millions of innocents.read FOIA, and most of all ask God for forgiveness.

  • @emotionalinvalid You are a typical antiAmerican moron. Your rant is irrelevant. This great nation will continue to do what is necessary and peons like you will go on complaining. I guess thats the way it is supposed to be. So keep on living in your ignorance. Someone has to play the fool. And assange will be killed eventually.

  • A new era has begun. The era of transperancy. Thank You Wikileaks

  • WIKILEAKS REMINDS ME OF NOSTRODAMUS he only talks about past nothing is telling us whats going to happend LOL

  • This interview's ''fixed''

  • who is the idiot interviewing julian? this is a very biased and poorly-done interview

  • martyrdom: well defined. if not displayed. God bless you sir. what happens in the dark will soon come into the light.

  • VIva la información!

  • What a brilliant man and what a way to answer questions. I'll definetly donate to your organisation Mr Assange. Best regards from Sweden

  • What can u expect from CBS with its "all seeing eye" logo?

And I can bet this interview has been modified, don't show all that Assange has to say.

It's the "enemy" who is interviewing him :P

  • @Lorenian You are exactly right, it was modified. The full unedited interview is on Wikileaks as well as a transcript

  • ROGAN

  • This Reporter :: "Asshole".

  • Julian Assange fights for The Users, man...

  • We don't like that you accurately publish true documents without telling people what to think about them. Here at 60 Minutes, we prefer instead to forge documents and then tell people what to think about them. (Google "Killian Documents")

  • I can't point out a single unbiased question in this entire interview. I wonder how much money the US Government is paying to CBS to produce this trash.

  • that interviewer is such a schiesty little shrew. dance puppet- dance!

  • What a genius

  • brilliant man

  • wow ownage at 10:05 Julian Assange totally owned

  • we need more organizations like this to keep the Gov. honest...

  • how can wikileaks possibly pose a threat to national security?

  • THE INTERVIEWERS FACE IS SO AWFUL TO LOOK AT

  • i love blairing america's faults and secrets to the taliban

  • I DONATED 200$ ^.^ LONGLIVE WIKKILEAKS

  • @moneyjr1122 - $500 i gave

  • Julian Assange is a malignant narcissist. His cause may be just, but he is still a schmuck.

  • @wallrike FUCK OFF CUNT LICKER

  • It amazes me how obviously one sided this report is. It makes the establishment look ridiculous.

  • Look at this people:

    " Julian Assange " = " Anga Jesus Nail "

"Anga" is Greek for " Messenger of God "

( in Jesus' time they spoke Greek & Hebrew )

The " Nail " part is a symbol of Christ's crucifixion.

Also the bible's description of Chirst by John in Revelations:

"His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow"

    "His Voice like rushing waters"

(Julian makes a "Shhhh" noise when he talks, like a tap on full)

"Out of his mouth came a sharp double-edge sword."

  • Assange is our saviour. Support him

  • SPY

  • WHY did I get an Advertisment for red lobster in the middle of this video? Fuck off media, I'm on youtube so I don't have to obsorb their every word and go buy their product.

  • FUCK YOPU CBS U BLOCKED THIS VIDEO AFTER THE ADVERTISMENT OR YOUTUBE

U ALL ARE CONTROLLED BY DARK << LIGHT WILL BURN U ALL IN 2013

  • Brilliant, all he did was provide a platform to speak the truth anonymously. It took on a life of its own and the rabid reaction of the establishment only confirms what most of us knew already.

  • julian stands for blind justice. i believe what hes doing is going to change the world fr the beter. and there isnt anything that anyone can do about it because if hes gone theres just going to be another person to step in his footsteps maybe even alot beter.

  • This guy is a true modern day hero. The fact that many in the US believe that disseminating information about actions of the most powerful organisations and that are the most capable of committing abuses is anything but a necessary process for honest transparent government is a sad indicator of how we have sight of our core values that make us free.

  • sheesh, gravel Gerty! He sounds like Henry Kissinger...

  • sheesh, gravel Gerty!

  • Theres no way the nwo can allow him to continue his work. I fear for him.

  • I DISLIKE THIS BECAUSE OF CORPORATE MOLESTATION OF MY SO EASILY MANIPULATED SUBCONSCIOUS. FUCK ADS AND THE "H"ORSE THEY RIDE IN ON. SERIOUSLY folks, im really perturbed.. This is like having a pawn shop pop up in what I thought was my good neighborhood. I remember when the only ads I ever saw were on dungeon slave, and beastiality porn sites.

  • I am an American and I think Assange is an absolute hero.

  • The reporter is trying to put words in his mouth, its pathetic. Obviously against everything he's doing. The banks are probably paying his ass

  • More denial of the real conspiracies we are facing these days, like the Justice Department collusion with Bank of America to attack wikileak's supporters like journalist Glenn Greenwald, and it turns out, a similar plan to attack the Bradblog.

  • I think one point needs to be settled and slammed into their heads-the media shouldn't always be trusted, I know that I'm stating the bleeding obvious for some people but others are just so thick!!!

  • I think most people like Julian, it's governments lead by the US that mainly don't like him and what Julian to go away. Only catch is if he dies then he'll become a martyr to the cause.

  • tv is posion. I mean really is this the kind of stuff thats watched? the host acts like a complete clown thats very ill-informed on the matter while constantly trying to sound 'crediblé' thank god I don't have to watch this shit.

  • 60 minutes and most corporate news organizations blow the" whistles" of, and take turgid schwantz up their bungholes, from the military/corporate complex .

  • I donated :D you should too! it feels good...o.o

  • Stay safe Wikileaks and Julian Assange! <3 <3

  • everybody knows both women were hanging out with Julian days after the "rape", he continued sleeping in their beds as they invited him over. Everybody has seen how Anna Ardin tried to delete the tweeters she sent after the rape where she invited Julian to a party and yet the bastards of the Media continue to defame Assange. These women should have been jailed by now for the next 10 years for false accusations. But all this is a huge crooked fallacy, governments want him busted no matter how

  • @match20045

exactly! these 'rape' charges are just character assassination and an excuse to get rid of him.

    fucking disgusting.

  • Where does this 60 minutes jackass get off speaking for me. Go Assange!

  • We should block channels that advertise like this. I just did.

  • I feel sorry for US citizens that are limited to their national media, it is truly the lowest-standard journalism I have ever come accross. Its funny how most of the intelligent ones go to the BBC and Al-Jazeera for something closer to objective reporting, considering the supposed importance of freedom of speech over there. I really can't fathom how a 'news source' like FOX isn't burned to the ground.

  • So what if he is a 'criminal'. Anyone can be made a criminal as soon as someone in power doesn't like what you have to say. Jesus was a criminal, Ghandi was a criminal, anyone who ever fought for independence was a criminal, anyone who ever died for what they believed in was a criminal. Just because something can be illegal, doesn't make it bad, if you have no moral compass that is more fundamental than written law then you are a truly sad individual, and do not know what good is.

  • @dirthead87 To say Assange is a criminal is to say r\Robin hood is a criminal. Stealing can be used for the greater good. Hacking can be used for the greater good.

  • Hey guys, have you noticed him saying "other Media prefer to gather information and INTERPRET IT for the audience", how come that sounds to me rather as "manipulate information, conceal information, and feed the audience with rubbish entertainment so that they spend their lives sitting on their couchs watching reality trash shows with a beer on each hand. THE MEDIA ARE THE EVILS OF THIS WORLD, THEY LIE, THE MANIPULATE YOUR LIVES WITH EVIL LIES, TO USE YOU, TO CHEAT YOU, TO POSSES YOUR MINDS

  • @match20045 Any conveyance of information requires interpretation, no matter what, where and when. If you calmed down for long enough you might be able to access enough brain cells to make sense of these things rather than getting all excited and hot like a dog. For the majority of the intel on wikileaks to be useful to the majority, it requires interpretation. Not many people can understand direct military-comms transcripts, hence interpretation is required. If you want credibility, calm down.

  • @match20045

You know, you can access the cables just as quickly as the media does. The web domain is ch and the name is still wikileaks. An average of 40 cables are released daily and very few are reported on by major media sources.. Feel free to interpret them yourself.

  • @TLydon007 I dont bother to read the cables. I am over disgusted at this corrupt Establishment to give a shit anymore.

  • You've got to be fucking kidding me with these adverts

  • Comment removed

  • @match20045 Heh heh I am using firefox, haven't got the ad-blocker though. Wasn't aware it took away video ads, will download now :)

  • @warriorofwrestling another good thing is that if you dont like a face on a picture, you right click on it and blow it away, out of the page forever, it is like a video game where you can wipe annoying faces with the click of a button the addblock is the best thing ever made in browsers

  • man i just hope he is what he says he is cuz Obama waz pretty nice too untill he let the fame get to him

  • @karimoore04 what do you you have in your hollow head ? Obama does not take a single decision, nothing, NO THING. He is the puppet of the corporatocracy he is the actor for the stupid masses. wake up for gods sake!

  • How can you become a staff member for wikileaks?

  • @uncreativeranter get in the touch with the Bureau for Investigative Journalism in London, easy to google

  • ufo revalations please...

  • 'mysterious, weird, cult-like' ???? Maybe to the rich white man. True Americans support Wikileaks.

  • Assange is a great mind, and represents the moral precepts of freedom etc that most aussies have. As an Australian I am proud to call Assange one of ours. Peace!!

  • FREEDOM OF SPEECH!

  • AMERICAN BILL OF RIGHTS: FIRST AMENDMENT:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

THUMB THIS UP IF UR A TRUE CONSTITUTIONAL AMERICAN! POST THE AMENDMENT AROUND! THIS IS WHAT THE FOUNDERS OF THIS COUNTRY SAID!

READ THE CONSTITUTION IF U DONT KNOW WHAT IT IS!

  • "PEOPLE think that what you're trying to do is to sabotage the workings of government."

People? What people? Most of them admire Assange and Wikileaks for their work. How dare this "interviewer" to speak for "the people". For me! I don't think they're sabotaging anything!

This is an embaressment to CBS! You call that journalism? To take your own opinion and sell it as the "people's"? Shame on you!

  • Shepard, we found the real Stock Broker, call Liara!!

  • who the fuck is this 60 minutes crackpot interviewer? American mainstream journalism is such a farce.

  • assange is the man ..

  • Why is a new reporter so set against someone reporting news that might embarass the government? I thought reporters were supposed to do that but yet he is being questioned as if he has no rights to do his REAL job as a reporter! Why? maybe because we no longer have real reporters in this country?

  • @ladybee43 Yep! You are right! Reporters of big news like CBS (all seeing eye and cronies) Are bought and payed for by the shadow gov guys . . .

  • @ladybee43 WATCH THE DOCUMENTARY ON THE WATER GATE SCANDAL THAT WILL GIVE YOU AN IDEA WHY SOME NEWS PEEPS ARE ABIT SCARED TO EMBARRASS THE GOVERNMENT

  • @ladybee43

That seems uncharitable. Part of a reporter's job is to put pressure on whomever they are interviewing. Steve Kroft may well support Wikileaks wholeheartedly; but it's not useful for him to simply nod at everything that Julian Assange says. A reporter's job is to interrogate the views of their subject, and that applies just as well to Assange as to Bush or Rumsfeld or whomever you like.

  • @ladybee43

well of COURSE we have no real reporters in this country (outside of a few at Fox news). the broadcast and cable media are replete with liberal-biased "journalists" who blatantly mischaracterize the facts to suit their own purposes, lie by omission, and ignore huge gaffs by liberal politicians while exaggerating the mistakes of conservative ones.

the newspapers are dying and with them great reporters.

  • Aussie aussie aussie.....Oi oi oi

  • HERO

  • @nickwade1 more then a hero... an inspiration!

  • Assange is uncommonly bright, and I suspect we won't see him interviewed in an accosting manner by any intelligent being because other bright people know he is right.

Libertarianism is the political philosophy of freedom - particularly maximizing individual freedom and individual sovereignty - both of which are noble pursuits.

The USA is guilty of autocratic Imperialism worldwide and while that was manifest under Bush.43 - Obama tries to sidestep this when confronted.

    Assange Wins.

  • We need more people like Assange, I swear.

  • 9:00 now that the Pentagon is showing its true suppressive colours just publish the whole damn lot of them the bankers the UFO material & all the war atrocities the poisoning of our environment to dumb is down to their level the works mate as they wont give you an inch so dont give them any either its only fair after all everyone even the CIA whether they like it or not is accountable to higher forces of which they are clearly not in control of.

  • mysterious a little weird a cult like figure paranoid no your just a great HUMAN with enough education and drive to do the right thing something our media stopped doing thanks Julian and all those who help and contribute to wikileaks.

we the people are the check on our governments its people like Julian who give us the info to decide what to do about our governments the news these days is crap oh look Obamas wearing not a red tie not a blue tie but a purple tie thats not news.

  • @sswaller - when they're done with the current docs.

  • so when are you gonna publish the bank docs?

  • He might need to make a run for it and go into hiding.

  • 8:40 - 9:03..... Beautifully put.

  • For those of you who who are politically delusional (probably 90% of you viewers here), it's called 1 + 1 political logic why 60 minutes is being harsh on Julian.

    1. Obama is a liberal & democrat, Republican Bush is not in white house.

    2. What Julian is doing isn't just supported by granola tree hugging liberals, it also has a Libertarian value & twist to it.

  • @justingarak

Perhaps you are not aware of this but when a non-American describes himself as a 'libertarian', the definition is radically different from the American 'Libertarian' who is usually a pompously deluded right-wing hack who takes the ideas of Ayn Rand seriously.

  • the interviewer is a dick, he's attacking Julian the whole time....Julian should be the worlds most respected man.

  • @KausheelKumar This is exactly my thoughts.

  • let the truth be told..!

  • where the hell were the tough questions for a guy like Boehner? Boehner gets to weep and reminisce while none of his hateful, violent and fact-free hysterical speech even mentioned in his 60 minutes interview. 60 MINUTES BLOWS!!! My mom, with whom I grew up watching 60 minutes for as long as I can remember, would be ashamed and as angry as I am at the farce they have become.

  • Assange is so fucking SMART !!!

making everyone look naive and full of shit.

  • - why is there so many american god junkie hicks watching this video and commenting against Julian?

    - to fuel their hate. keep it up texas!

  • Go JA and WL.

  • smart, smart man...

  • How accusing is this guy? Why doesn’t he just say -

So Julian everyone in the Good and Great country of America pictures you as a mysterious and evil terrorist who feeds on the blood of Afghan and American Soldiers while hacking in to the order of the civilised world. What would you say to that?

  • @joze605 Not everyone.

  • I am glad to see so much good comments below. It warms my heart, and my girlfriends heart too.

  • Hate to undermine the importance of this video.. But as a British citizen, i was unaware that Hal from Malcolm in the Middle had put weight on and subsequently became a news reporter. When did this shit go down man?

  • Fuck the fucking idiot ads

  • Fuck Hilary. Lets treat her like a terrorist and see how she likes Guantanamo.

I never knew the lies that were told to me from my government before wikileaks released them. I love the truth. Those who lie want him dead. Assange is awesome and has my full support.

  • Bradley Manning is not a traitor! He knew doing that which is morally right carried grave consequences. In the worst of situations he acted most honorably within the finest traditions of this country. Bradley Manning is a first class hero!

  • NO STEVE KROFT MOST AMERICANS DO NOT BELIEVE IN THIS LYING, CHEATING, AND BCKSTABBING GOVERNMENT AND WILL SUPPORT IT LESS AND LESS AS TIME GOES ON IF THIS IS HOW THINGS ARE REALLY RUN. JULIAN ASSANGE IS MY HERO!!

  • After watching this It has completely changed of what I think of him. Before I thought he was some kind of punk but now...not so at all. Something or someone needs to keep a check on everyone.

  • Except Assange is not Bill Gates and Wikileaks is not Microsoft. Oh thanks for clearing that up 60 minutes.

  • Fuck the Establishment. Period.

  • Who the hell is this guy to say that Americans dislike Assange. I am an American, and I support him 100%!

  • @cdc482 no you dont the tv siad so.

  • @cdc482

Kroft is a mainstream hack. Most people in the mainstream are sheep and believe fairy tales that have been instilled in them from birth to the university to the workplace and will not in 99.9999% cases, no matter what truths and facts they are exposed to, give up what's at the core of the fairy tale: a convoluted lie. I think Assange is great. Very inspirational to see a person put himself in harm's way to do what he KNOWS is right. Now time to play some GTA!

  • @cdc482 American's don't dislike Assange. Anti-intellectual, morally-bankrupt, subhuman thoughtless husks that are neo-conservatives dislike Assange. Anyone with a brain, and any natural moral sensibility (i.e. that hasn't been taught out of existence by Church/Conservative education) considers him a great and inspiring man. Assange is not the 'true legacy of American spirit', that is vacuous nonsense, revolutionary-type figures were around long before the US existed, he is a peoples hero. Read.

  • @cdc482 dam right!!

  • @cdc482 what I've noticed is that his American interviewers are a lot more blunter and you could just see the hate in their eyes, I think that's what they mean by 'Americans dislike Assange' because afterall, it's the people in the media who give a certain image

  • Assange is a libertarian!!! Represent! Ron Paul 2012

  • @cdc482 Ron Paul looks pretty old.. can we get some fresh meat? I personally don't know him but he seemed just reciting his libertarian idealism.

  • Let the young generation follow the example created by Assange and his organization to usher in a new era of government transparency.

  • Assange is a revolutionary :) x

  • Assange is the true legacy of the American spirit.

and the Tea Party Movement's a fuckin' joke.

  • @TLydon007 That is nonsense lol. Have you read more than one book? He is fighting the legacy of the US, he embodies the natural HUMAN spirit and tendancy to question authority that has clearly overstepped a boundary. If you can only associate that with Americans, then your knowledge of people and history, indeed everything, must be very poor indeed. Stop appropriating things as a nationalist, its depressing to watch and misses the point, Assange stands against your mentality.

  • @AnthemicPolemic

"He is fighting the legacy of the US, he embodies the natural HUMAN spirit and tendancy to question authority that has clearly overstepped a boundary. "

He says it himself that what he is doing is American. So what if I think it's unamerican to hate on him?? I'd sooner regard him as patriotic than Bush or Blair. I'm reclaiming patriotism to those it belongs to.

  • @TLydon007 'I'm reclaiming patriotism to those it belongs to.' Who does it belong to? That statement is ridiculous. Patriotism can only be said to belong to the weak, those who need to be led, who are unable to form an indentity around anything more substancial than an imagined community. He describes his actions as 'American' to an American audience, as he understands the necessary vocabulary and traditional rhetoric to convey his more profound ideas. He is of a new, nationless, humanist breed.

  • @7th75thCallaghan

Listen, I was mainly emphasizing the second part where I target the Tea Party clowns. If you lived in America, you'd know some of what we're currently putting up with. That's probably why I got so many thumbs-up. They define being American by opposing transparency, suppressing their own civil rights, and perpetual foreign wars.. They also equate affordable healthcare with the Holocaust and alot of us are getting fed up with it.

  • @TLydon007 Fine, and that is the duality of the 'American spirit'. I think it is pointless and sometimes counterproductive to define a national identity like that. It becomes especially meaningless over time. Neither 'side' is describing some innate spirit, you are all talking about the philosophy that you think will get you to where you want to be. I simply don't like it when nationalists appropriate 'heroes' that don't belong to them. If you are as progressive as you say, you should see that.

  • “When abusive organizations suffer the consequences as a result of their abuse and you see victims elevated; yes that’s a very pleasurable activity to be involved in.” Agreed : )

  • Julian Assange is a great man. He is a hero.

    -Peter Wexler

  • Mr. Julian ATE HIS F'N LUNCH!

  • Comment removed

  • This interview sucks, LET the man talk and shut your freakin yapper Steve Kroft

  • 12:40 - 13:00 unlike governments that just externalize all the costs of their abuse and misdeeds onto the taxpayer... This 60 minutes journalist is a moron.

  • Steve Kroft, the former Stars and Stripes propaganda machine reporter, getting his reporting points from the Pentagon and now co-opted by the Merdoch dis-informaniacs’. He has more access to Obama than most other US Journalists for a reason. Controlled dialog by his handers. Sit Steve! Ask that question at 1:34 Steve. Look mad a Julian Steve!

Hey Steve, any “reports” on the actual “content” of the Wikileaks disclosure?

Rupert won’t let you? Thanks for legitimizing Salon.com

  • Anarchist are people who want to uncover the truth? Count me in then.

  • too bad this is not ad free

  • Bless you julian. The sooner the malcontent spirtually void blood sucking parasites screwing up the world are outed for what they do to and on OUR planet the better. Then maybe we can ALL get along with evolving . Bit of a tricksy interviewer that. Hope he gained some evolution in his conscience from meeting you.

  • 60 Minutes has once again proven to be dishonest and a propaganda asset of a criminal government with a great deal to hide. Just one example is 60 Minutes disclosure and twisting of the details about the murder of what were unarmed BBC Journalist with cameras and their escort and the murder of two children sitting in the front seat of the van that came to render aid to the victims of that murderous attack. Go watch Collateral Murder

  • MY HERO.

  • Bradly Manning and Wikileaks are Daniel Ellsbergs of today! Forget CBS, NBC, CNN, BBC spreading government lies...if you want to know the truth switch the TV off and go to the Wikileaks now!

  • The big question is 'what gives Mr. Assange the right to decide which national secrets are sensitive or dangerous and which should be freely available?'. He's putting people's lives and national security issues under his own judgement. He seems to be a reasonable guy.. but what if he weren't? Does every private citizen have the god-given right to play fast and loose with international politics? I hope not. There has to be SOME kind of checks and balances on sensitive intel.

  • @Timdrum Doesn't GOV'T have responsibility to avoid building an EMPIRE OF MALICIOUS LIES, BLACKMAIL, SPREADING VIOLENCE THROUGH AGENT PROVOCATEURS, STAND DOWNS, SABOTAGE AND DECEPTION?

  • @jibbi4one Consider this? the most DAMAGING info julian releases is on CORPORATIONS. He has info on BOA, Well one thing already Known about BOA is When they received Tarp Funding they were suppose to loan it to Distressed Homeowners (Via New Loans) Well they okayed about 2-5% of those Aplications and kept the rest of those Loans. Their Stock Drops 5% after Julian announced he was gonna out them. BOA is a criminal organization, they know it but don't want you to know it.

  • @nandansho Reality, is the nexus of gov't & their crony business (banks) buddies have managed to attract LEADERS WITH VACANT THINKING they can FOOL people to keep absolute power for the gov't and too-big-to-fail-corporations alive.

YOU CAN FOOL some of the PEOPLE some of the time, you CAN'T FOOL ALL the PEOPLE all of the time.

  • @jibbi 4 one Not only do corporations 'attract Leaders with vacant thinking..THEY CREATE LEADERS!Consider how Joe barton and Many Republicans were abhorred that Obama secured Money from BP to pay affected industries for the Oil Spill damage. Those republicans receive the most Lobbing Money from big Oil. The Only way to make Politics right is to impose Term Limits on congress and outlaw lobbying. simple bill simple remedy. Yet These types of Bills never get past the House.

  • @nandansho

"The Only way to make Politics right is to impose Term Limits on congress and outlaw lobbying. simple bill simple remedy. Yet These types of Bills never get past the House."

I know it sounds like a dream to outlaw lobbying, but there are some minuses.. Only the privately wealthy would win election campaigns.. Thus tilting legislation from favoring publicly owned businesses to favoring privately owned businesses..

Not disagreeing with you, but it is something to consider.
