  • There needs to be more of a definition relating to depression, so that there can be clean and defined rulings when it comes to things like disability.

Also this is a good lesson for everyone, only a fucking idiot posts personal pictures and information online and expect it to be private, the Internet was nor ever will be private domain.

  • OMG She looks like an old fart for 29.

  • People like this cause our insurance to go up. If she can go on vacation, she can work. Lazy, lying wench. She should be forced to pay the money back.

  • Apparently depressed people shouldn't combat depression by going out and trying to have fun. According to said insurance company, a depressed person should always try not to have fun.

  • Do what normal people do and work for a living.

  • if my face was that ugly i would be depressed to lol

  • She got caught. Go back and start actually working for your money.

  • i wish i could have a house like that and not work.

  • diagnosed as cured from a facebook pic. Who was the dumbass at that insurance company who made that decision.

  • If her doctor who told her to go out and try to have fun actually said that, the same doctor that diagnosed and verified the depression this insurance company is going to get DESTROYED in a lawsuit.

It is not up to the insurance broker, but the physician on matters of health. What the fuck is this, the American Health Care system?

  • Okay????

So depressed people shouldn't allowed to have fun either?

    OMFG!!!

That insurance company needs their asses kicked!

My older sister suffers from depression and is getting treatment for it too and she goes to clubs every weekend and post pics on her MySpace and Facebook, I don't see her insurance company cutting her loose.

  • Dumb move and got caught. Never met anyone who had depression who wasn't skiving whilst feeling sorry for themselves.

  • Ok, I'm not one to believe "depression" is an illness.

But let's entertain the notion it is. She is, after all, getting sick leave for it. And this horribly depressed woman is getting out of the house to... I don't know... Do something about it.

Do we call therapists and say "do I have depression" to hear them say "I don't know, let me check your facebook... Nope... You look fine to me?" I don't think so.

I mean, shouldn't they give her an evaluation or something first?

    ...

    This is nuts.
