  • black looks sick man i got the OD tapco stock

  • I want to get one of these stocks but in Olive green. IT sucks hbere in canada we are limited to 5 round mags, I would like to load it right up, 5 are gone too fast.

  • @scarumanga

Yeah, but at least you guys can get real Russian SKS's, and SVT's without eating canned beans for a year or selling a kidney. lol

  • What song is that in the back? and thanks for reposting this video.

  • i have put a tapco stock on my sks,and now my bot wont lock back....help

  • was it hard to modify the sks?

  • all the more reason NOT to have music over your video...

  • too bad California don't allow detachible clips, nor banana clips. Thanks to those two dumbasses who robbed BofA

  • Did you reblue the steel or paint it or what? It looks good

  • SKS's are such splendid little rifles.

I wish I could have one where I live :(

and you have 2 awesome :)

  • were do you live?

  • I guess I will have to put up an SKS vid. I'll write WMG on the targets. :P

  • i miss the audio in this vid... it was awesome but WMG ruined it...

  • WMG you ruined my favorite SKS vid.

Piss off WMG! no one likes you.

  • really nice and clean looking .... do optics mount from the side ?

  • please post this video again with some other music or with the origenal sound

  • WMG Assholes!

  • boycott wmg

  • I second that

  • I also agree

  • snow shooting is always fun, its hard to find a SKS that actually works. what ya gotta do is find one where all the serial numbers match.

  • mine has all matching numbers. i dont think it was hard to find

  • That TAPCO stock looks badass man. Im diggin the place to, i love to shoot in the cold, to bad out winter here is pitiful

  • lol mercury cougar

  • i was going to get one of those 6-positions but after i sanded, stained and tru oiled my beechwood stock it just turned out too nice. i do like the tactical look of these though

  • I also have a video shooting 30 rounder s, no problem with mine.

  • My bad, you are correct, I had the tapco 20 round mags, i had five and they all sucked ass, just my experience. Always ftf and fte.

  • Thanx for the tip . I was about to buy some, but I haven't had any problem with my 30 round steel mags.

  • Nice video. I have the same thing, but on the back I have a railed receiver cover. I put a small scope on there or my red dot, works wonderfully. For the record never buy the Promag 30 rd polymer mags. It jams constantly, and never feeds. There is one thing it is good for though, a target.

  • Whats the name of the song?

and would you recommend mounting a red dot sight on the front mount?

  • Does anybody know if I can load ammo from a stripper clip into a 20 round Tapco mag?

  • i think so but its a bitch to do it

  • my 30 round plastic mags broke on around the 200 rnd mark. my steel mags EXCELLENT!

  • im selling my sks 750 fully loaded

  • Your only gonna get 650 if your lucky unless your selling it on the street.

  • I could get one for 300 with three 20 round clips fully loaded

  • you mean 20 round magazines....

  • damn i love that stock that u got on ur sks where u get it at

  • Finally got the muzzle brake on my sks. check out my video, got 4 30 round mags. God bless Texas!!

  • Great video guys. NOTE, as a precaution so that you can continue to fight no matter what, carry the original 10 round fixed mag in your combat load. If all else fails and the mags are lost or damaged beyond use then you can always switch back to the original mag system. Never throw away any parts for a weapon. Keep them on hand as it is better to have something that is working. more is better. Libertytreeradio MGK/GDW!

  • Never truer words spoken, on my sks I tried and tried with the 30 round tapco mags, spring just not strong enough for reliable feed, constant ftf, fte. Switched back to 10 round fixed box magazine. I can reload faster on the 10 round box mag with stripper clips than I could with a change over to 30 round mags anyday. Great show, Ive been listening.

  • usually works better if you aim!

  • depends on what you are trying to do...if you are trying to hit something then yes, it is better to aim. If you are trying to show viewers the look and functionality of a weapons system, then no, it does not matter if you aim- unless accuracy is the factor in scrutiny.

  • I think I would rather have an akm than a sks

  • The SKS are still pretty cool rifles.

Are you bump-firing at 0:30 or just pulling the trigger really fast?

  • just pulling the trigger

  • can you mount a scope on this model?

  • yeah, you can buy the rear reciever with a scopemount dovetail on it...usually not more that 40 50 dollars...

  • Right, thanks, does it stand out alot when you mount it, i mean in height. eg. of that would be a mosin nagant?

  • Meanextreme Love the video , the scenery and the guns...! Quick question how the hell do i install a muzzle brake pin style to my russian sks it seems to me that the cleaning rod guide is in the way

  • mine was already installed, I have no clue whereas i sold the rifle in question rendering me unable to observe and comment on your inquiry.

  • The ones I bought Cost me 39.99 very expensive . I also bought 2 more 30 rnd mags at the gunshow Those are Cobra Synthetic polymer just like the tapco 20 rnd. those were cheap at 2 mags for $40

  • Bought 2 30 rnd steel mags , no problem with jamming , it all comes down to knowing how to load a MAG PROPERLY.

  • not really, I know how to load magazines, my 30rd mags jammed period. Too much spring pressure when 30rds, and too little the last few...simply put -the mag that I had was JUNK!!!! no other explanation for it. I am sure there are good ones out there but my preference has changed to tapco's polymer mag.

  • I love the SKS, my dad I just got an old 1951 from Russia SKS.

  • I just bought a Yugo SKS 59/66 and im totally getting a 30 rd. mag

  • I wouldnt do it man, i'd get the tapco 20rd...its a gamble whether it will work well or not...almost guaranteed to jam on the first and last few...

  • Question, can you fit a steel 30rd mag on an SKS with a tapco T6 stock?

  • i have no idea i sold the rifle a while back sorry that i cant help you but from personal experience it looks just as badass with the 20rd and is just as funtional...trust me.

  • I have not finished the video but does tapco make 75 round drum mags or 100 round?

  • I know that tapco doesnt make any

  • I am unfamiliar with this rifle, what calliber is it?

  • 7.62x39

  • I have to say, I plan on getting an SKS soon and I never really considered changing the stocks but those look pretty damn nice.

  • get it soon before obama screws everything up on 2nd amendment

  • is that a detachable mag you put on it? if so i heard that doing that can cause jams. is this true?

  • Not with these mags...no jams whatsoever...tapco polymer 20rd mags are as reliable as the gun is

  • awesome, thanks man.

  • i love this rifle

  • yeah its the detachable mag, but i have had no jams with the tapco 20rd however the steel mags are junk in my opinion

  • SWT is better

  • GOOD MUSIC! GOOD GUNS!

  • true that

  • beautiful property

  • thanks, that would be maine

  • hm, what a great rifle, but i prefer the wooden stock

  • lmao original stock they are shit

  • thats what I say

  • to hell with those nasty stocks...WAYY better now...I wouldnt even own one if I couldnt convert it over....damn-

  • you guys should look at me shooting my sks ....serch gonzalo sks

  • love the tapco mags but i got a sport style stock due to the original was crack badly

  • thats a great looking pair of rifles, if only mags were easier to change and it would be great if someone made them in 5.56, 6.8, etc etc

  • carry some stripper clips and you don't have to change the mag. loads'em quick as hell to.

  • the gun was uncomfortably short, and just not what I wanted...so i changed it...$120.00 and it is new looking and comfortable not to mention more functional...folding stocks look stupid as hell, and other than the fooling around on this video I usually fire at the shoulder...hip firing endless rounds is out of my budget here...

  • i have a much more functional rifle now at a price of the base ak47. upper and lower rails, pistol and forward grip, adjustable stock. whats not to love.

well.... ok. there is a drawback to this weapon that really irks me. its the duckbills on the mags. not so bad in or out of the weapon but a pain to store in a vest. its hard to carry a comparable load of duckbills. can carry maybe half of that of an ak in the same space. thats what mole pouches are for on my vest.

    im not disappointed.

  • hey, ... do you know if tapco makes a setup for the albainian sks??

    (the foregrip area is longer)..

have you ever seen any aftermarket stuff for the albainian ??

    thanks,...and nice sks.

  • i fucking hate you for destroying such a beautiful gun.Pistol grip, detachable magazine, collapsible stock.

  • my preference....hate as u please

  • what disturbed song is this?

  • hell

  • how did u clean out the bolt(firing pin)?

  • when i took the stock off, I took the metal gun parts and soaked them in No. 2 heating oil, kerosene, and worked them over until there was no sign of cosmoline....it works well and doesnt hurt a thing....

  • i saw a yugo for 225 at a show last week. thats a steal these days. i paid 135 for mine two years ago.

  • well said....my intelligent friend

  • stupid russian

  • theres alot of those leaving comments lately

  • yea their prolly at an internet cafe they cant afford computers

  • ID like to own one.Now that is a great rifle."Papovka" as we call it here in former Yugoslavia states was good before, and it is a great rifle. But what did you done to her,WOW!!

I say give this man a medal.Did it cost you much??

  • NO!399$ at big5 pasadena ,cal STILL TOO EXPENSIVE !

  • The way the prices keep going up at the guns show the big 5 price will be a steal! They were going for $350 at the last show, the next show they will probably be $375.

  • You like the wolf ammo. Thinking that's what I'll buy since its still the cheapest and still gets good reviews I believe.

  • believe it or not sks has been on ban assault rifle list for 10 years in calif(SUNSET LAW) STILL ILLEGAL WITH BAYONET OR FLASH SUPP. OR DETACH MAG. yugo 56 with grenade launch way illegal, all of a sudden big 5 is selling yugos for 499.00 under curio antique/relic law. no waiting period for rifles older than 30 yrs. IMAGINE THAT. get em while there hot. i got my norinco for 69.00 in 1993 now there 500.00.for yugos

  • It's not classified as an assault rifle by the feds either. Cali sucks.

  • Cabela was selling the Yugo 56 for 229.00 just two weeks ago.

  • i paid $350 for two in perfect condition still in the cosmoline, I cleaned them up, put on the tapco stock and synthetic 20rd tapco magazine and shot the shit outta a bunch of random things. Much fun, low cost- 175 for the rifle (apiece) a hundred more bucks and they were a good shooting comfortable system.

  • if you ever watch that vidieo m-16 vs.ak you'll see ak is slap happy bolt action. sks is a way more precision gun and killing machine. ak has got nothing on siminov rifle. ak is shorter barrel and less acurate also. for the money sks is the way to go.

  • where you got the 20 mag from.

  • Looks like golden tiger ammo.

  • Song please?

  • I believe it was hell by disturbed

  • Thnx man, oh yeah sweet vid

  • Absolutly love those stocks even though i have a spike bayo and it was for a blade.

  • That sounds awsome on slow motion

  • Did you paint it?

  • no i didnt paint it...that is the tapco stock and magazine....it made it look amazing....

  • I just ordered that stock for my yugo sks, how do you like that stock???

  • any one know if the flash suppressors are legal on these

  • They're legal in my state of Texas

  • in mine too north carolina

  • an sks is like a ruger mini-30 same caliber and both are reliable and dependable.

  • i hope that aint Brown Bear ammo? They say non corrosive but trust me, they tear your gas tube up and the heavy lacquer casing will gunk up your chamber. I would buy wolf ammo, i mainly use lake city and remmington but wolf is so cheap when burning up 100+ rounds a day...

  • when i get a yugo im gonna get that stock set, makes the gun look like a bad mofo but i hear they make the recoil wake up.

  • no in fact it give you better control of the rifle

  • i love SKS rifles, my brthr jst bought his second one at a gunshow for $89

He's had it for 2 weeks and we havent had a problem yet.

  • are using wolf ammo?

i just got my m59/66 sks

  • they're a good rifle and still reasonably priced. I'd lose the rifle grenade launcher though.

  • Wish I could've gotten that muzzle brake. I have a Chinese SKS, so I couldn't use it. Looks pretty badass with it on there. Oh, and if you don't have one on there already, I'd suggest getting a Tapco Buttpad. I've found that the Buttstock on the Fusion Rifle System can be a little unforgiving.

  • Yeah, It is only semi auto. I think I would waste too much money and have too much fun to be legal with a full auto. I bought the pair of them brand new, never fired, threw that stock and magazine on it, and put two boxes of shells thru each one. They fire flawless as you can see with no jams of any kind. Truly a fun rifle. They are Zastava M59/66a1 rifles. If you hear anything it is probably mechanical noise due to the rifle not having a recoil buffer in the reciever. Thanks for the comments.

  • oh so sexy, the sks is a must have for my collection.

  • Sounds like you get two shots each trigger pull. How do you do that or is it just the carrier smacking the bolt into battery?

  • That would make him a felon. He's just firing fast. Bump firing. One pull, one shot.

  • Maybe its youtube. Or an echo. On my speakers it sounds like two shots. It would make him a felon only if he is the US but not across the border and if it doesn't have papers which some do have as they were converted (legally) before 1986

  • All gun laws are void under the U.S. Constitution.

  • try telling that to the BATF

i bet theyre pissed cuz those guns probably dont have any other US compliance parts

  • Yeah, but try telling THAT to the ATF and the Department of Homeland Security when they throw you in the clink for violating one of those laws. SKS rifles were never meant to be full auto, and aside from one rare Chinese variant they are all semi auto one shot/one pull rifles. Well built and accurate, you can't go wrong. Prices are going up, so buy now. Doesn't matter which one, you can't go wrong

  • WHAT ABOUT IN THE CITY OF CHICAGO THEN?
