Why are some people obsessed if something sounds or looks gay ? One of the things i love about the darkness and hot leg is how outrageous and flamboyant they are, justin's dress sense and the music itself. It's part of what sets them apart from other bands. I'm not gay but i'm decent and open minded enough to realise there's nothing wrong with being gay. Justin being so flamboyant is one of the main reasons i like him!

I saw these guys live when they supported Extreme, awesome band. This is what The Darkness should have sounded like in the first place, 100% improvement. Justin came into the crowd after their set and I had the chance to talk to him, I said "Man, I like your new band a whole lot better than The Darkness", and he replied "Thanks! Me too!". Have to agree here. The darkness had... well... DARKER riffs. Yet very great melodic things going on. And I'm not too fond of the lead guitarists style (not Justin, the other lead guitarist). He's a typical fret w*nker without soul. And they're leaning more towards the 80's style of guitar playing now. I prefer the 70's style Dan/Justin combo. I'd love to say that HL is as good as TD but it's not true for me.
