'An FPS with full 3D movement'

Should be more console games with these kind of controls - better than arcade dog-fighting type flight games and better than sim type flight games.

It's like a much, much better version of G-Police.

Only thing I don't like is you can't swap the thumbsticks on the dualshock.

Can some-one recommend another game like FORSAKEN?

I had the first voodoo + vga card..

I loved it, I falled in love for 3dfx, next was voodoo rush! and then voodoo banshee.. never had a vd2 or greater :(

It is because when you are working with limited resources, your focus is on pushing them to their boundaries. It takes a unique person to identify what those boundaries are. Todays games are created by large teams of individuals... It's the same reason for why food from a large kitchen is worse than from a small kitchen.

If I remember rightly this was one of the first games to utilise the new range of coloured lighting effects on the new 3DFX cards. I got this game bundled with a 3DFX Voodoo2 card.

And this isn't the music from Resident Evil, it's Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata.

Gawd I miss this game... the gameplay variables that challenged your brain to think in 3-4dimensions all at once... the multiplayer was mind boggling... and yet, the game faded because too many gamers could not finish the game :D LOL! that's what you get for making a game that only intelligent gamers would enjoy... they should know we're only few! :P

it is pretty much a tournament style of it... multiplayer in Descent is interesting but limited... forsaken is the best form of descent multiplayer :P
