Great song. I think those notes are fitting quite well (except the part beginning at 2:38, which is kind of annoying). They carry the song to another "floating" atmosphere^^... don't know how to descibe it!^^

As much as I love and admire Matt Bellamy, I do sometimes wish he'd stop playing when it isn't necessary. That ebow sounds horrible.

Could be his Sustainer unit, rather than an ebow, and just using the volume pot to give an ebow-like sound... because you don't see him put the ebow anywhere, and he doesn't duck down or anything (as far as is visible)
