What's odd to me is in 1989 I was in San Jose and in 1978 in Santa Cruz (fairly small). Both earthquakes caused cars to jump up and down and sideways. I have some wild stories. But here and in Japan I haven't seen any cars jumping around

I was there on a visit and i thought it was my hangover and i was getting light headed but everything started falling. man, just like the bible when the rock rolled away there was an earthquake. i guess people were to focused on easter eggs and not the true menning of easter.

we dont get very many earthquakes in colorado but in may 2010, we had a 3.6 and that was the biggest one i'v been through. lol no one believed me about it till it made it on that website that lists them all. lol

So sorry you had to go through this. This is one of the best personal videos I've seen on the earthquake. I was born and raised in the San Diego area. Moved to Idaho in 1991. We are not immune to future quakes here, as well. In fact, where I live, there is a lava tube that could very well do much damage should Yellowstone blow. Thanks for sharing!
