  • The term "Hmong" is pronounced, "Shimon" in the Hebrew language. Hmong is a Lost Tribe of Israel, descendent of Simeon, one of 12 sons of Jacob, son of Abraham. Originally, Hmong is from Israel, not Mongolia nor China. If you look at it closely, the Jewish s original term for God is, "Yeshua" (Ya-shua) & in our language is, "Yawm Sauj" (Yer-shou). Two syllables, monotone dialect. Find out more by reading the Bible ..

  • @InsearchofHmong you are fucked up brother!!!!! the jewishs will laugh at you claiming hmong people are a lost tribe from israel!!!! it was a illusion......you ancestor were in asia and some part in China.

  • How funny about this person "tribesking" who is Chinese and always saying that Hmong people are uneducated and uncivilized. he so educated and civilized but still communicate with Hmong people in here (YouTube). Now that makes him tribesking uneducated and uncivilized LOL.

  • This is so nice !

  • IMO most Hmong in the US are Hmong from Vietnam. - most are migrated to the US after the fall of Vietnam to communist from the north.

Hmong in Vietnam are some of the most fierest fighter in the world. They fought for the communist along US special forces along the border of Vietnam/Laos and for that they pay dearly when the US abruptly left the country and left 100,000s fight for their own survival.

  • @acitz7654 I meant to say " They fought the communist Vietnam along with US special forces"

  • hmoob nyob txog rau qhov twg los yeej ua rau luag paub thiab pom tias hmoob yog ib haiv neeg uas muaj peev xwm li luag lwm haiv thiab tab sis qhov uas peb hmoob ua tsis tau li mas yog peb tej siab ntsws xav tsis sib thooj kiag li

  • Got love for my Hmoob people worldwide!

  • OMG!!! I am so jealous! How come Hmong American girls can't play qeej? Seriously? Why is it only that the Hmong American men only let the Hmong boys learn to play them here in the U.S.?

  • @Megumi209 Because the elder Hmongs in our "branch" of the migration are/were narrow minded, whereas those who stayed in this region accepted both sexes (in terms of letting them play the qeej).

  • it's very interesting to see the context rich ceromonies of the chinese hmong.

    thanks.

  • stupid miao/hmong people, whats so special about them. they dont even have a country and take up space. there just low asians and dont even campare with chinese koreans japanese and maybe that of south east other asians. low dogs

    not even educated

  • @tribesking you think these ppls are stupid and not smark like you. I bet if you will wear their shoes you probably as stupid as they are. For someone to be educated, one must go to school and learn...if you give these ppls tools and resources to learn they will be as smart as you okay... so stfup...you eat dogs!!!!

  • @drkx2009

    go to school then....stupid lol

  • @tribesking Stupid is you dog eater!!! Smart and educated person don't talk like you idiot. Educated one is respectful and not like you dirt bag dog eater chink. Go lick your mama ass and finish your high school stupid!!!

  • @tribesking

you are the most stupid Hmong ever. go lick your mom's pussy and maybe you'll know what the fcuk you are.

  • @niamtxiv

    ???

  • The performance you see in this video is newer idea(s) for entertainments. The key scene is the Mong [Hmong] flag post. They still raised the flag post and practice the entertainment underneath it. That is the Mong way.

  • wow the new year over there looks way more kick ass then the one in the usa, all ghetto ass wanna be thugs fighting.

  • seems like hmong chinese cermonies are way better then us hmong u.s.a aha

  • oh shit. First i thought this was a battle formation they were gonna held.

  • and they dont try to make money off each other like in the US

  • wow thier new is the shit not like in the US

  • Hmong is such a unique culture!

  • MAn, if only We DID have New Years like that in the U.S., We'd be FAMOUS!!!

  • Man now that's the way to celebrate Hmong new years, Unlike America all we ever do is sheit. Waste of money. If we actually had something like this at our new years I don't mind paying at all.

  • I traveled there in 2008 i believe to this exact town. its so different out there, but it was overall a great experience! i wouldnt mind doing it again. anyhow, new years is going on right now as i recall. you need to know someone/people out there... its a must! btw... gotta rem its commie nation.

  • When is the Hmong Chinese New Year always celebrated? I want to travel to China to visit our root Hmong and join the new year celebration there. Please let me know if any one knows the informaiton for my question.

  • @ayakalo for 2011 it will start on the feb 2

  • the thing i impress in hmong chinese is the hmong chinese that dance they always wear high heels shoes and they still dance very good but i never see the hmong in other country wear high heels shoes dance

  • well, the high heels are still low enough to not topple over, which is why they can still dance

  • damn...i wanna go over there and like live there too bad i dont kno any relatives that live over there : ( im so jealous

  • This is much more epic than the Hmong New years here in the U.S. Hmong New Years should be more like this.

  • wow... I feel so lucky to be Hmong. We Hmong are the long lost Civilization called Liangzhu Culture in the coastal region in China. Hmong Civilization was said to be the "Cradle of the Chinese Civilization".

  • hmong miao change the name man it offends me yo seriously

  • Are Hmong Chinese? It depends on what you understand the word Chinese to be. If you understand it as a name for and Ethnicity then no Hmong aren't chinese only Han are. But if you understand the word as a name for a nationality then yes hmong are Chinese and so is every ethnicity that is a national of China. So it all depends on how you look at the word

  • @tsimmeejLi "Chinese" is a derogatory term given to the people of China by outsiders just like "Miao" was given to Mong [Hmong]. Mong are part of China.

  • these Hmong are real Hmong no Chinese. you live china, it does not mean you are Chinese. Han the only group they accept to be Chinese do you understand. Miao you can be Hmong.

  • OMG. that's how they do new years!?

    That's so cool..

  • What's the difference between Chinese and Mongol?

  • Mongol and Chinese are separate DNAs...

  • those arent mongols

  • If the Chinese wants to govern us, we are Chinese.... represent Hmong. We are who we are.... people who came from China. We might not be Han, but we are Chinese... no one ever gets the concept.

  • fck that shit we an't chinses we are fcken hmong saying we are chinses meaning u an't got so much pride in our races we are the least known asain races with no home stand up for ur race n get it straight we are hmong

  • ur a fucking fag

  • thov qhia cov hluas nkauj hmoob suav cov xov tooj rau peb tham thiab lau

  • It had said that in the Warring States Period, the King of the Chi( Qi) State loved to listen to the qeej (yu- ancient wind instrument)

  • Awesome costumes play and wish to attend!

  • wow i love it..hmong chinese are awsome....lucky i'm just only hmong but still i'm happy with it..

  • Well they are only Hmong too. the only reason we call them Hmong Chinese is to classify where they live. They live in China thus we call them Hmong Chinese, if you live in the USA then you are Hmong American. make sense?

  • of course i knew that.. that is why i said that i'm just happy to be a hmong or a part of hmong chinese you see the connection..that is why i'm happy about it...

  • but still, our way of life, etc, etc, and etc are so different from one another.

  • maybe diferent but hmong chinese dont speak chinses may sound like it but it an't chinese ask ur parent they might understand alittle bit of the too

  • @83493 Hmongkies are Hmongkies....rofl.

  • i visited a couple years back and saw the hardships and strugles of the people to live in their daily lives but it's amazing to see them put on such beautiful shows.

i am a bit disappointed in the hmong americans who don't put as much effort into making the new year a bigger deal in terms of the performance bits.

    thanks for sharing.

  • i know huh...

  • I agree with you, but MN dancers has always been trying to put Hmong dances out there. I know you may agrue that MN dances are not Hmong but Chinese but I would have to disagree with you if you think so too. Anyhow, whenever MN dancers wants to push the Hmong Community far, there's always those whp pulls us back. I think that's why US Hmong American can never get too far.

  • Wow,love love this Hmong Chinese new year shows and dances. This is should be our Hmong new year shows look like always. It has lot of talents and creatives.

Tsimmeejli, are you Hmong chinse or Hmong american, how could you get these video so fast?

  • I am not Hmong Chinese but I have been living in China for the last few years, that is how I get them.

  • really? if you don't mind me asking, is there a reason why you lived there for a few years?

  • First I went for tour, then I liked so I stayed to study, and now I work in China.

  • Was it easy to be a resident of china? I mean, does the Chinese require paper works and does the American ask you to come back? You live by yourself, or with relative? Want to come live there too. :) Hey, if you don't mind, i like to ask for these video you got, in their raw file format. Let me know. Thanks.

  • that's so cool....

  • omg!! omg!! once before, i had considered doing that too!! wow!! i can't believe that there are other hmong who also are interested, not just me. wow!! how did you do it?? if you don't mind sharing. i am very interested!!

  • Everyone in the United State are so money hungry, ask yourself to go to study Qeej and you will say no, because you have to work. LOL. I wish too, but the world change the people, good thing some people in U.S here can still sing kwv txiaj, but less and less, if you don't start learning!

  • same here, this is what new years should look like.

  • Nice.

  • hey ya know the saying if a girl crosses your head you become dumber. lol i love my hmong people. p.s im still mad at them dam chinks, i love our hmongland must see before death.

  • If I was to ever do a Hmong dance, I'll try to incorporate this style more. Not because I dislike Hmong Laos and Hmong Thailand, but to try something that is'nt see often, especially for us Hmong American.

  • That is great to hear. I don't dislike Hmong Laos/Thailand either, but I think a lot of the Hmong children these days only see that form of dance, so too often they forget that there are also Hmong Sauv.

  • I find this kind of dance more interesting, maybe because I don't see it often, but it does have more style to it though. If i was to see a hmong american group do this i'll be like, damn they're cool!

  • well i don't blame you for thinking that way because that is where we originally originated....China....i think that way too... i sometimes think that we somewhat have a relation to China...because we originated from there....
