The best time to ride an Amtrack is during Spring when the flowers are blooming, Fall when the leaves are changing, and Winter during snow showers :P

since its on a crossing, wich for others is a pain to wait for, i think that the engine detaches and crosses, then waits for the signal, hooks back on and they are on their way! correct me if im wrong... :D
