  • krav maga, obviously because its effective and meant for real street fights and judo if it comes to grappling or groundfighting, so krav maga and judo combined IMO are the best to know in a real fight because you got all grounds covered, striking, grappling and groundfighting, krav maga is so simple to learn yet its so effective, ina real fight u dont care bout lookin cool doing some flying kick, u wanna win the fight and walk away unharmed and thats why you'll trust krav over some bs MA

  • listen guys, ive tried alot of martial arts tae kwon do, karate, wu shu kwan (chinese kickboxing) and aikido and i can honestly say that when your faced with a real threat krav feels the most natural, instictive way to fight, i tried using a technique in a real fight and i wasnt confident with it, i didnt feel as if it could work and guess what? it didnt. Tried a tae kwon do technique and i paid for it, imo best fighting styles are krav maga and judo for real fights

  • @FuckUBebeGringoRocks in the real world???? its made for special forces and guards around the world. uv only seen civilian knowledge of this martial arts and well the defense side.

  • Joe Rogan said that Krav Maga was not effective and any practitioner would be killed by an MMA guy !!!

  • @wrj9221 bullshit, not full combat krav maga. this is only the defense side, that's all civilians know. mma is shit you play around to much. krav maga is for taking on 10 people and getting them all down before they even lay a finger on you. iv seen the limits of krav maga and its brutal compared to mma

  • PAH WUUU HA PWAAAA HAA PUAAAAAAAAA!

  • Jewish Karate...pretty but not effective in the street....

  • @wrj9221 It is effective in the streets and many security guards, soldiers and LEOs train it for that reason all over the world.

  • @wrj9221 this is the most effective "street" self defence you are going to find, its not jewish karate and by saying that you clearly dont know about krav maga n i wont waste my breath explaining to an ignorant person, and krav maga is not pretty theres no fancy kicks or throws its all about survival and learning how to fight with adrenaline pumping through your veins

  • @wrj9221 Jewish Karate? Really dude? Not effective in the streets? Really dude?

  • Why every self defense video shows knife strikes coming downwards? lol Wouldn't someone try to stab you with a straight strike on your torso or the neck? :S Also, what prevents a pistol carrying attacker from shooting you while he's in a safe distance? Moreover, what prevents a stick carrying attacker from striking you with his free hand while you try to disarm the other one?

  • Krav MAga is cool! But is it necessary to scream Bam Bam to every punch!

  • @Herzogvanwerden in martial arts you are taught to try to exert the most force into your moves as possible. while you may think it's trivial to make those sounds, by making them your body is exerting even more energy into whatever motion you are making at the time, thus inflicting more damage.

  • It's funny, 'cause the TV guy looks more like a Jew than the Krav Maga trainers.. :P

  • jason bourne style!

  • I love Krav Maga! Also JKD, Kajukenbo, Ninjitsu, Hapkido, Penjak Silat, Wing Chun,

Choi Li Fut, Muay Boran, Bokator, BJJ

  • good clip thanks ari (oldsgtmajusmc) in clarksvville tn

  • HIT AND WUA HIT AND WUA HIT AND WUA XDDD

  • @toughROCK100

Hahaha, your comment had me dying laughing!

  • I wish he wouldn't call it an art it is so much more than an art

  • i probably would have paid more attention in hebrew school if we had learned this :/

  • 'The weapon is a stick" OH NO

  • @Bredli37 Well, I think that "stick" is hard enough to penetrate through your eyeball :\

  • Comment removed

  • I'm a mma guy but would learn krav maga some day.

  • @RovingLandRover 99.9% of the arseholes you encounter on the street are not BJJ fighters and attack just as you saw in the clip. When one of the Gracies attacks me for my wallet I'll then be worried about my krav maga not being effective and the possibility of getting my neck broken

  • @kazamify are you stupid?

  • nice video.

i am training at krav maga almost for two years and its cool

  • ma anche no

  • lol at the noise he makes at 28. - 30

  • forget b.j.j, wrestling, judo which are 1 on 1. What will a gracie do against 3 guys?? this is real scenario.

  • its practical, the techniques are built from instinctive movements which makes them easy to remember in times of stress when adrenaline is pumping through your veins and it seems very effective since, there's no fancy moves, just real strikes to vulnerable areas like the groin because in a real fight, you do what you need to in order to survive

  • best opening ever

  • i love the way he demonstrated it halfway through the introduction - nicely done

  • Very practical.

  • the beginning reminds me on lincoln burrows xd

  • hey if anyone has played gta 4, dont yall think this guy sounds like the main charachter niko lol

  • holy shit that was awesome

  • I love that the lead editor of Men's Vogue is a nerd. HOT!

  • Krav maga is soo awesome, i really want to get into doing it but it aint that easy as it looks from my point.

  • @patrickbors From my point it looks pretty easy. I think you dont need as long as something else. Looks like a little bit of train it, circa 5-6 month. hmm

  • @patrickbors its actually very easy i started about a month ago and im not gunna lie it is a major workout but very effective and easy to learn

  • @TheNoisycricket96 but you have a Krav Maga training school in your region right? And i dont have anything like that. So if i wanne learn it i need to learn in from the Internet :S

  • @patrickbors yeah my school is 20 minutes away and i go quite a lot but the internet also has many videos

  • Men`s Vouge !??? WTF hahaha

  • Rhon is the best!

  • ХУЙНЯ!!!

  • Great video, to all that watch B'hatzlacha!!!!

  • wow he sounds like the "Zohan"

  • @privateer013 first of WTF do you mean my people have tried to murder and kill second of all wtf are you talking about i know exactly what im talking about and i wasnt pissed but now i am KEEP YOUR FKN RACIST CNN BULLSHIT COMMENTS TO YOUR TWISTED SELF!!!! and get your fkn facks strait moron

  • thats sucks there is no tine to focus in what to do, you'll remember just the 60% of the techniques learned.

  • YOU ARE A FKING MORON GET YOUR FACK STRAIT DONT JUST HEAR SOME BAYEST RACIST COMENT AND BALIVE IT. GET THE FACKS! YOU SHIT FACED LIAR

  • Fake and shitty.

  • @trakkaton ya true when the guys attaked him origanly it was faked but krav maga is on of the best and most deadly styles in the world there self defense is outstanding it is probobly the most usful fighting style in the world. it takes the best of evry kind of fighting, gun disarm weapon disarm, teaching how to you's a weapon

and creates the perfect blend, trust me i know

i have been taking kickboxing, my thi, jui-jitsu, wrestling and moltible self defence classes. krav maga is best

  • @thehomecomedy

I doubt that you even started with any martial arts training, since you haven't even realized that a technique that is trained with fake, slow zombie attacks can never be of any value in a real life situation (zombie apocalypse not included!). "It's the training, stupid". Btw there is no such thing as "gun disarm".

  • @trakkaton first of all i have been training in martial art since i was six. two yes there is scuh thing as a gun disarm(of course you only use it as a last resort not inless the person holding the gun is threatning to kill you). and yes i 100 percent agree with you slow zombie like training can nevr be valuble to your training. BUT this just happens to be a terrible video to show you true krav maga. there is a reason its tought to all the top milatery force including NAVY SEALS, SAS, and isreal

  • @trakkaton i sense some hippocracy coming from u, moves are trained slowly at first for a reason, in my art, we have a saying

"slow is smooth, smooth is fast, fast is deadly"

of course ur not gonna move like a turtle in a real fight, but that is why we train

  • @kapoof2

I don't know what "hippocracy" is. If you're talking about "hypocrisy" I urge you to learn the English language so that you know what the words you are trying to use actually mean.

That aside, there is no problem with practicing techniques in a slow manner at first - in any sport, on any instrument, etc. That has nothing to do with the fact that the video and the bogus pseudo fighting in it is fake and shitty. You don't seem to quite grasp the difference.

  • @trakkaton for full on training they ut on body armor or take out the deadly moves

  • The beginning is cool when he owns about 7 guys

  • Hollywood bullshit, 80s it was Ninjas, today it is Krav

  • i started krav maga then stopped only because as the man said its a way of life, so 2 hours a week i felt it was leading me into a false sense of confidance

  • @justdid102

i dont think you have to worry about that, as krav maga was designed to be *maintained* with a minimum of training as the soldiers dindt had 5 hour a week to train hand to hand combat. the techniques are simple and stay with you. i was training 4 hours a week, and then i got a surgery and i dindt train for about 8 weeks or something. it was just all the same, nothing even flawed a tiny bit

  • @privateer013 Honestly I never saw a real battle with masters of Krav Maga. But I had the opportunity to talk with several of them, where they told their stories. Each one believing what you hear. I know there are many deceivers in this world, but with available information on the Internet is much easier to know who is who.

  • I met Mr. Mizrachi in Brazil two months ago and he is a amazing person. His lecture was very interesting and his basis is one of the most respected in world: Grandmaster Haim Zut.

  • don't shoot im cool

  • when will I ever see a fighting style that teaches you to attack first??? If someone is beating your loved one, you will just stand there and wait if the attacker attacks you????

  • is mens vogue a gay magazine? that gay is so gay!

  • love the accent

  • what do you recommend the most between krav, pancrace, and sambo, there are many clubs where i live but i don't know what to choose beetween those 3

  • @zamzamlele

Zam - visit all three in person and then ask yourself:

1_ What is my goal in training?

2_ What feels best to me? (important so you will continue coming!)

If your goal is pure self defense - then Krav Maga is for you. Because that's all that it was made for, and it's battle-tested DAILY in Israel.

If it's sport and competition you seek - then maybe the other two.

  • @MisterBlueSky1000 thanks very much,my goal is pure defense and i want to invest me 100% for a long period if not my all life, i live in a place where almost everybody practice muay thai/boran,,and the fact is i don't really know what kravmaga really is .is it self defense for women with a hundred locks and where they don't teach how to throw a correct punch?,or is it tsahal style:very deadly and street fighting designed?i think it depend on the club so i'll follow your advice

  • @MisterBlueSky1000 there are very good points about krav that fits perfecly for my situation(knife defense, multiple attackers) but i want to know if it can work over an average muay thai fighter/savate fighter(i know it depends most on the fighter than the art but there where many situations where the guy had already put his guard when he came to me)

  • @zamzamlele

You're welcome. Look I'm not an expert.

Go see the places and compare.

Krav maga is very Israeli in its attiude, meaning:

No ceremonies / No katas / Only what's really important for best survival is being learned / Very aggressive - No compromise once attacked, because Jews have learned the hardest way what happens to docile people / Prove it or throw it away... / Very direct in dealing with obstacles without shame - like fear, lack of determination, and so on

  • @zamzamlele

Here I found a vid for you to see - where two martial artists who have trained in Muy Thai etc. realize their skills are useless in a real street-murder situation. Remember - in Israel, if the attacker is an Arab terrorist then he's not there for your money but only for one thing: to kill you.

    Here's the vid - enjoy:

    ?v=XcyrGuUnmMk

  • @MisterBlueSky1000 thank you ,yeah i've seen the whole episode, and the fight quest one too,i'll start next month, thanks again

  • Looks great, as usual

if it looks rediculous you don't know what real Krav Maga is, maybe you should research it

  • mto afude

  • Can't believe there's such a thing like "Men's Vogue"...

  • looool.....tellement de la merde....

    all this looks ridiculous...)))

  • @nazar2007paris Shut up it is better than your fucking street fight ( 10 vs 1 ) like the arabs do in France.

  • @nazar2007paris

Since you are Arabic I can see your obvious hostility...

And your obvious divorce from reality as well.

Sad - we could have had peace with you many years ago if you guys didn't prefer arrogance over compromise, and fantasy over reality.

  • @MisterBlueSky1000 lool i am NOT arabic ) 1st of all : I AM RUSSIAN . 2nd : I practise Sambo for 6 years. 3rd : Street fight is real , usefull and hardcore ...

  • @nazar2007paris

With a name "Nazar" and a hostile attitude to Jews - who would have known you are Russian, Monsieur Gaspadin?

Drop the ignorant comments against people and we'll get along.

    L'haisse rendre l'homme sot.

  • @MisterBlueSky1000 bitch you talk too much ! fuck your mum though!

  • @nazar2007paris

Looks like your Sambo training didn't make you a better person, just a bigger mouth.

You need a mirror - or better yet a wake up call. Life will give it to you - right in the face.

  • @MisterBlueSky1000 you're an utter moron. "i can see you hostility just because you are arab?" mate, drop the stereotypical ignorant attitude of yours and go get some education. You 1st insulted the guy after you assumed hes arab then you insulted him again for being russian. not to mention, you instantly assume if someones arab then he has an attitude against Jews and wants to murder them all? what's next Germans? you fucking ignorant fool. people like you are the reason the world is miserable

  • i wil also learn this Techniques. im a really fan for KM.

  • lol good comment

  • Why can you no longer buy Rhon Mizrachi Krav Maga instructional DVD's? I can't find them.

  • i faccio jeet kune do only 3 years...it's letal and cool

  • in every martial arts has its disadvantages ... and I personally think that the last thing in their Krav Maga ... I was doing decently Krav Maga and I understand this ... and there have been cases in which no street Krav maga I'd have a very very hard!

  • muay thai owns

  • no more jew jokes for me im scared...

  • bennyc100, you are way too critical. This video was not intended to be a "balls out" demo. It was for a mag. and just used to demo the basic concepts of Krav Maga.

As a practitioner of Krav Maga. I've seen, simultaneous multiple attack scenarios with guns, knifes, sticks etc. and in such situations you will be injured, but I'd rather get injured than be dead.

As for the gun, and knife defenses they were performed correctly, albeit in slow motion due to the purpose of the video.

  • yeah. . that's why it is used by over 4 different countries' special forces, most police forces, etc. It's because it is the ONLY form life-proven to WORK. This guy just sux.

  • Its not lethally flawed yea your right theres a danger someone is going to try and disarm a guy with a gun and get blown away when they would be better off doing as there told! Im sure they teach good judgement too tho!

But krav gives you survival skills for situations where your already at a huge disadvantage and death is very likely

Anyway im troll proof so only reply if you have content!

  • Then, Mister, I have to say that you have no idea what KM is like.

Krav Maga techniques also work when they are not done perfectly - great advantage of KM. Only the ground fighting part comes up with some problems - but you can easily put in some MMA techniques or (as I do) Kokkar Kempo.

  • @xdred707 have you ever encountered a real life scenario, mr fisher ? and by that i mean did someone push the limits and engaged you and you had to kick their asses ?

  • @thecomputerist

    No thankfully, never had to.

  • @xdred707 :| that's boring =D but safe

  • @xdred707 my weapons instructor always says that winners bleed but losers gush

  • Those techniques really wouldnot work if those people were REALLY attacking him. The knife defense was a joke, he also would of gotten shot with that gun disarm. Also, try working on getting attacked with at least two attackers coming at you at the same time instead of one at a time like they do in hollywood movies. That is how it really goes down in real life.

  • That's when you take out your gun and blow them both away.

  • bennyc100 you realy respond like fool,

you have no knowledge about the real,

Krav maga, its good against knifes, also

a gun disarm from close distance, i'm use

it on real against knife, here in the u.s.a.

    I'm not suggest

  • bennyc100 i'm not suggest to you, to test

a real guy of Krav maga, becouse if you be

lucky, you only finish in a wheel chair.

  • krav maga brasillllllll

  • A simple re-direction of the stick down his arm

  • quello con la pistola è un coglione! chi ti punta da 2 metri ti spara altro che si avvicina...la strada nn è cosi clemente

  • he is not good in krav maga. he knew that men stood there. so not done.

  • Best thing I like about Krav Maga vs. others...is, they don't waste time with kata's and forms etc. Training is to the point! In this day and time I would not join a school that does that. But for all those who teach, get to the point!....thumbs up!

  • amazing and really useful !

  • No matter the style, good strong basics and footwork "is key" in any self-defense situation!!! Not because it's "israel" like! This country patronizes all these so-called fighters of other ethnicities like it's such a new thing. The AFRO-americans were doing "self-defense" for years..and we get no credit. Krav Maga is nothing more than just being practical your objectives. I know of 2 organizations who fight!!!! Sanuces Ryu warriors and The BKf Kenpo warriors...spar with these guys n see!

  • lol... i do krav maga and i can tell u now it is by far the most effective form of self defence for the reason that it is designed specifically to defend agaisnt life threatening situations with NO RULES... unlike nearly other form of fighting which has rules so they can have competion fighting. Id bet my on my intructor any day b4 any other person with training in diff martial arts.

  • you right ...i wanna do that ish too by the way have every had to use your training in real life?

  • I agree with you, I do Krav Maga myself... I must say though, krav maga isn't for everyone. I think traditional martial arts are fantastic and many people favor them because of the structure. And yes, i would bet on your and my instructors over other martial arts any day of the week. :)

  • idk krav maga is very useful...but yea it always come down to the practitioner i guess!

  • I 've taught Krav Maga for 8 years now and Rhon is the real deal.

  • lol, in reality "shoot first ask questions later"

  • fucking great. i wanna start so bad but its expensive and i cant find a place near me in texas. fuuuuuuuuuuuccccccckkkkkkkkkk.

  • waHT GO TO THE USMC BASE AT HOUSTON

THEY RELEASE COURSE FOR CIVILIANS VERY NICE

  • @jurothegreat i live in spring tx and i goto a krav maga class on tuesdays and thursdays.

  • @jurothegreat A karate Chain Kovar's teaches it here in California.

  • Do you think this is better than Keysi fighting method, they both have similar concepts..?

  • when you compare it to keysi, it just depends on personal preference, since i taken a liking to the keysi fighting method as well. however i would recomend taking both, because keysi can help you keep your head safe from attacks, which is the most common target for attacker, and suppliment that with krav maga, which takes into account weapon attacks

  • LOVE it. I cant wait to send my grandson who is 8 ! I think this is better than karate since it deals more with everyday thugs. Great video.

  • its DEFINATELY better than karate. Avoid karate/tae kwan do and all those typical places you will find on every street corner at all costs, if you want applicable, effective for real-life martial arts.

  • that Techniques form israel army

  • as a krav maga instructor i totally recomend it cuz it´s the most objective fight in the world i have used krav maga twice and i´m still alive so i garatee that krav maga is one hundred percent efective

  • I'm trained in KM and I have to say that it's easy to learn for those who want to defend themselves/others. It gives someone a lot of confidence too

  • Could you kindly explain to me why Krav Maga is better than BJJ in a real life situation, Thanks

  • from my knowledge, i would say because in a street fight you do not want to get taken to the ground, mainly because if your attacker has friends all they have to do is wait for their buddy to get you to the ground and hold you there while they beat you from the top.

  • ya like papsi89 said we would you take some one to the ground when his buddys start hitting you in the back of the head?

  • In some way you are completely right, when your life is on danger, and your opponent has some friends, the last thing you want to do is taking you opponent to the ground. But lets remember that as far as you have a really good training and knowledge, you dont have to have hard times with the opponent, you can even do a kimura, or a guillotine choke from standing up, anyway, krav maga is for personal defense, bjj is the same but is focused to be an sport, is better but harder jjj. dats what i tink

  • Im a brown belt in BJJ and just started Krav Maga about 6 months ago,I think they both are really effective but diffrent philosophys of how to diffuse danger and defend your self...the thing you have to take in mind likebennyjoke is that most fights end up on the ground and if it does, all the Krav Maga techniques goes out of the window(I love Krav Maga im just creating a scenario)....id say do both =]

  • You are a god for me, i practice MMA , just to learn , BJJ, because where i live there is no BJJ or Krav Maga, im completely agree with you, both are different philosophys, As far as i know in KM you want to avoid Danger as far as possible BJJ you dont, but at least on a real life threating situation i would rather use KM than BJJ, but in a one on one street fight i preffer BJJ, by the way on september im about to meet Royce Gracie in person Yeah lol xD

  • Ohh thats such a shame man...Training in Krav Maga & BJJ really does prepare you for the unexpected quite well..But i have to agree with you regarding the scenarios.

  • I think training in both of these arts is great . . . but Krav Maga techniques do not go "out the window" once you hit the ground. In KM, as you advance, you learn basic (relative to BJJ) mounts, escapes and submissions, with biting, eye-gouging, finger-breaking, nut-crushing when appropriate, "weapons," etc. Those basic techniques (which benefit from practice focused on them) stand a good chance of hurting even a BJJ expert who doesn't train for them, and definitely anyone else on the ground.

  • Ok i will have to take that on board,by the sounds of it your more experienced in Krav than i am,but my teacher says despite my BJJ background dont force the fight to the ground because in most cases the foe will have friends lurking around, thats primarly why i said what i said, the Krav institution where i go focus on stand up techniques. :S

  • ok then toss up bjj or km for a street fight?

  • oh i tought krav teaches ground techs too.

  • They do, but the basic essence of Krav is to disable your opponent as fast as you can so ground techs won't be neccessary, just dodge-attack-floor-run.

  • I don't know about the other comments here, I thought the demo was pretty damn good.

    His technique was solid.

To anyone who said it was too slow or whatever, I have no doubts that Rhon could move faster in a real life situation.

And remember the attackers were acting like the typical street thugs, they don't know how to attack with a knife or a stick or a gun. If you have a gun on someone you never get close enough for them to take it from you, like the last guy did.

  • as a former US Marine and police officer this is the only fighting system that is geared toward kicking someones ass and totally defending yourself....I completely recommend it.

  • @mtn018 Yeah this actually looks effective but can you learn this in the states

  • @echoe128

    This guy teaches in NYC

  • @mtn018 former marine.....

  • @mtn018

that coming from someone who is probaly trained in the line system or mcmap?,which are both great, thats a real compliment. and i total agree.

  • Хуйня из под ногтей !!! Сука клоуны !!!

  • I really, REALLY HATE when they are showing "how to do in combat" moves when they dont even hit hard with the weapons they are using. How fucking hard can it be to stop a fucking stick from hitting your head when its coming in slow motion?? :S fucking lame shit

  • the whole pseudo simulation at the beginning is wrong, they probably hadnt much time and will to do it right and it was just a mess...

anyways in krav maga u never step back or stay still to defend, the only occasion when u step back is when u take half a second to realize the situation and then step inside the fence very fast to neutralize the attack

  • I'm sorry... and your qualifications to make a judgment are what? Watching Fight Club over and over again?

  • I for one would love to see all you loud mouths post up something ANYTHING of value.

Again, just like the other putz below...you watch a few movies and play a few video games and you think you know something.

  • I'm sorry but I do Krav Maga and I'm pretty well informed,so its not the case but u're right it happens too many times that people speak without knowing shit...

and anyways fight club is about something more than fighting,if u didnt notice...

    peace

  • right, i'm sure that's the reason why you chose tyler durden as your user name.

in any case, because you are so qualified, then you obviously understand that when showing a technique you need to do it "slow" to...SHOW IT. you want to talk about sloppy? how do you think it's going to look in the street? as i recall the victim got away with the weapon, caused maximum damage to the attacker, and was unharmed. isn't this the point?

  • my point is just that they could have made a better demonstration I didnt understand whats yours o_o

  • I don't know how skilled you are, but if you have some experience in MA, just by looking how this guy is moving and how he behave you can say he's very experienced guy. He served few years in Israeli army during Lebanon war, so this guy knows how to deal with real live danger situations much better than most of us. Next time before you start to critisize somebody make sure you have some knowladge about person and topic you're talking about.

  • you know my neighbor is from Israel and he was telling me that not everyone is taught K.M. in the army. he served too , everyone does its a rule.

  • are you a moron ? It's called practice and they just giving a demo on how the system works.I bet you could fight your way out of a wet paper bag.

  • This art is probably the best in the World. I've been to the classes, and they are fantastic, fun, and a real workout. I would d
