I mean, okay it may be that he's a little bit fast, but honestly it really wasn't bad. Even if he rushed it a bit, it still was correctly played. Rythm was right, he hits the right keys, so were's the Problem? Nice Job! At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how fast or slow the piece was played. He did it with some skills and that's all that matters to me. Peace P.S: This piece isn't as hard as everybody claims... Average difficulty of Chopin pieces. It's just tricky, thats all.

In case you're all wondering, Nodame Cantabile is an anime about a girl who plays extremely messy, but is incredibly talented at making it sound so good. She plays classic music using her feelings, her own style, her own pace, her own rhythm.

So in reality, this guy is just letting his feelings play out the piece :|

According to my teacher this piece is one of chopin's easiest pieces, I'd say the slightles complexity is the rythmics - on the contrary side; it follows a similar pattern making it incredible predictable, that if you're flexible. I've been playing for 1 year and this's my special piece.

Sorry, this is really sloppy and there's too much pedal. I suggest practicing this slowly until you have the technique down and can play the notes evenly before playing it at this speed... Glad to see that you have feeling for the piece t hough...

You have great feel for music and you do know how to 'sing' as Chopin have always taught his students BUT polish up ur technique a lil' more. Practice with the metronome and with the score (subdivide please. The fast part was in a mess). If possible,get a teacher to work how to do use he pedal properly. It blurs up the music and turns your performance into some sort of cacophony. Other than that not bad an attempt at playing Chopin!

you're overembellishing like mad, can't keep track of tempo for your life... are you running away from anyone? r ur fingers fugitives that are about to get caught and they run for their life "RUN FOREST RUN". lots of mispedals, playing with flat finger, you shouldn't move ur wrist, any sort of work and force should come from the fingers, all you do is crescendo and crescendo and crescendo. when ur not playin in a concert hall, ur more relaxed and can show alot more of ur skills. u dont.

You should use a metronome and count. You're speeding up-a common misktake for fast pieces like this. But not too bad for a piece this hard. Also, you really need to pay attention to tempo markings. In the B section, it is Largo to Moderato Cantabile. Don't make Largo faster than Moderato. Overall, 3/5. Slow practice is really needed, most of all though!

The problems you have are pretty obvious. You are rushing too much to show off your techniques, leaving no room for the expressions Chopin intended. Especially on the second page, the main melody should be shown clearly, and technically speaking the speed should sound approximately the same with the first page.

From what I see and hear, it is good. Cos this is simply not playing in a concert hall setting. he is correst to play in this mood cos he is dressing in a non-formal attire. So it fits the mood of this tune. That makes this performance special.

personally, I think the way you played was not classic at all, and to certain degree, you really destroy the piece. For Chopin's gorgeous piece like Fantasie Impromptu, it should be more elegant in the sense that one should not rush simply because he can show off his techniques. Especially on the cantabile section, it's more like a reflection of someone's hesitant mind. If you really want to show off more about what you can play, do the more classic Chopin etudes...lol

Good attempt but...more dynamic variation (ie. volume and tempo) would be good though. Make your melody clearer in the climax (it's an octave higher the second time) and at the ending (where the left hand goes into quavers). Ending is too slow, it's marked presto, the part where left hand takes over melody is too fast relatively speaking and the right hand is too loud. Final chords should be softer, they're marked pianisissimo I think.

Otherwise. yer technique's pretty alright.
