Reminds me of a girl I used to work with, Vicki Farmer. I liked the Cure, but didn't know of this song because I didn't have anything prior to Fascination Street and the live CD, Show. Good song. Always got a funny visual about some clumsy girl who kept falling over her own two feet.
Thankz.....I LUV The Cure...and now at my age hahah..I still do happy times and amazing days...thanks this is my fav Cure song...too bad I gotta get old...
yea i think he do`s coz some one asked him where he got these shoes from and he said they are reebock or highteach and they are not eney of them so yea he gets them made fro him
i have allwas loved his shoes i allway pull the toungs up and have lots of shoelases on my shoes
i cant believe i used to be this fukn sad all the time,Now im just doing things all the time.I have no friends or family.I can hardly relate,my dreams are friction.I laugh loud sometimes.I can relate to rabbits. One process after another.Simple,peaceful,restful.
i love when people get me back to listen if for only 3:02. Its amazing how music can pull you,I know were made from sound, and we were light before that.
I LOVE THE CURE!!!! This song is so original...gotta love it! The cure always has had their very own sound, like no other!!! I wish I could go back in time to the 80's and see them LIVE!!!!
Yep, caught them in Phx last year. Like going back in time every time I see them. Have had the treat of seeing them over three different decades...and it never gets old.
except lovecats? oh boy...you crazy! a little lesson, if you like dark, depressing, gloomy stuff get three imaginary boys or their MAGNUM OPUS...disintegration. if you like happy poppy stuff then get the head on the door.....
All the horns and violens etc. from this album were fake from synthsizer and keyboards etc. Porl can play the saxaphone and did alot of that on The Top live
Is it actually Lol playing violin or is he just playing to it? I always presumed it was Robert playing since he's the only Cure member who I know can play violin.
Ahh I forgot all about this Cure song. The opening soon reminded though, absolute gem from a classic Cure period.Think Pictures of You was'nt far away.Charlotte Sometimes was my favourite.
im just asking cure fans if they are going to tour soon or ever in the rest of my life time i missed it last year to see this band would be on the top 3 list of bands i want to see would have payed good money to them now even more in the 80S
aw, this song makes me want to cry. I wish music did that more often. I think the last song that did that for me was give my love to rose or whatever it's called by Johnny Cash. I can't really think of any others.
I would say as good as the Beatles...They are a little different, but Robert has a lot of diversity in his music and it is timeless.
The Beatles had an excellent rythm together. thier later solo music got worse and worse if you ask me. I could not 'imagine' buying a mcCarney record now and do not even care. Robert keep churning out timeless excellent music on his own.
I saw them in Dallas this past year and they started back in late 70's. They played some new stuff that was good this era and your right about the beatles later music!! Beatles were to premadonna.
In the 80's I was happy sometimes and sad other times. Depends on love, seasons, terminally sick father figures, beautiful sunsets, fun things to do, depressing things that happened to me and wheather or not I was socially accepted at school.(usually not, not many new wave type people in the schools I went to) Summer vacation and other vacation days were mostly wonderful times.
ROBERT sings A KINDA differennt this TUNE...SO MUCH feelings is inside his VOICE,,,perfection...
