thats not good dude....there is a problem in the gas/air mixture, u should check the injection system and the air filters(most possibly air filters r dirty).....this is called backfire or afterfire which used to happen in cars with carboratures but it still occur in nowadays cars with injection system.....it happens quite alot so dont worry ur lambo is good but this is kinda natural problem

As for LT-1's being an engine for rednecks, the LT-1 is from 1970, only a mere 15 years after Chevrolet even invented the "small block", it was essentially their platform for developing and learning, to create the great engines they have today.

You just insulted your own engine. Despite the fact that LS, better known as "Gen III" have very little in common with the original small block, they evolved from them over time.

As for your little "respond" to mods statement, which is completely idiotic. Check out the Chevy LS1 article done by HotRod. They do not even recommend aluminum blocks for 700+ horsepower applications, it "becomes a liability to long-term health".

I'll tell you what, go strap on some Turbonetics Y2K turbochargers onto an LS1, pump in about 40 PSI, run some VP C16 race gas, and tell me how well it responds to mods when you have little pieces of aluminum blown apart in the engine bay.

No. The 04-06 cars are forgiving, and I never get CEL's. The 07's and up will throw codes for just about ANY exhaust work.

Your camaro goes around corners like a shopping trolley unless it is the new one which is actually quite a decent car. Whats wrong with high revving engines? Race car engines rev highly. They are a much more engaging experience than a hugely torquey engine and if you cant figure out how to get the best out of a high revving engine then that says more about your skills than the car.

Slating a car like a ferrari just because you cant afford it is pathetic. They are masterpieces.

I've never said I don't like some of the more expensive Italian cars. I absolutely love the Ferrari F355, that's about it though. But see now you seem like an absolute fool. My Camaro weighs 3,200 with me in it. The 5th gen Camaro is nearly 4,000 pounds. My Camaro also has a shorter wheel base than a Murcielago. Research some stuff before you think it's a terribly handling typical American car. The 1984 was also considered the best handling American car.

Do you know the history of Lamborghini? Ferruccio Lamborghini was an industrialist, he built tractors, yes, tractors, but he liked fast cars, so he built his own tractor inspired fast cars!

Ferraris are 10 times the car in my, and a lot of peoples' opinions, Ferrari has the racing history to back that. Lamborghini just has a bunch of overweight rich men that like Cuban cigars, and that're willing to throw away $200,000+ on a car with no racing heritage.

Agreed for the most part. I think the poor quality is there for a reason, and its the price of the vehicle. The ZR1 outpeforms the Ferrari F430 but look at the price difference. You can buy two for the price of 1 Ferrari and still have money left over.

You also forgot to mention the Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR though. That beast has the #1 Nurburgring laptime.

Rest if American cars are garbage so I agree. I can say this too since I live in the U.S. so I don't have a European bias.

You think Ferraris suck compared to Vipers and Corvettes? What the fuck are you smoking? Yes the Corvette ZR1 is a phenomenal car and is every bit as fast as a Ferrari or Lambo but there is much more to a car than simply being fast. The interiors and design are streets ahead and they feel special when you are inside them. In a corvette it just feels like another plastic american car.

Spykers are cool but they dont offer the same performance as a Ferrari or Lamborghini.
