Impressive. Love the color, the romantic scene and the music. Great job!!!!
I also have canon HG10 but I don't because of my setting or the video editor (I use Windows movie maker after convert .mts to another format) I don't get this great quality. What movie editor do you use? Which program to you use to transfer vids to PC? It takes me hours to transfer them to my laptop. Do you convert mts to another format or do you work directly with it? Thanks in advance. Mike
Thanks for the kind comments, the editing program that I use is Corel Video Studio, which is great for editing HD. Use the Canon Guide Menu software supplied with the camera to transfer to your pc, it should take minutes not hours! If you look through my Corel tutorials you will see one for uploading to YouTube in HD and the quality will be great!
I like this footage! It's very pretty! I was wondering, since I'm making a video for a chorus of the Song "March Rain" By Hatsune Miku, can I use this in the background during some parts while the singers are singing? I'll make sure to credit you! I just thought it would be neat to add actual rain footage (and it hasn't rain here in a long time)!
Wow! I like this video so much, that I put it into my "Best of '09" playlist!
Unfortunately, the best I can do with my little HV 30 now, is recording snow...Too much snow...Nothing but snow...I'm so tired of all of this snow... heh heh.
No amount of work in post can make all this snow more interesting...
Thanks friend, much appreciated! Yes snow! We've had quite a bit of snow here, it's all gone now, but I think you've had a little bit more than us! (understatement!) Nice camera you've got there, it's the camera I wanted but I was a little bit short of cash, but I'm very happy with the HG10, speak to you soon, cheers!
Hey, cool video, but I was wondering did you use the camera's built in manual focus for this or did you get an adapter to fit a 35mm lens onto the camera? Basically, how'd you get that effect of focusing out through the window and then focus on the window?
Thanks Rick. I'm just trying the Canon with a view to buying one. It uses a hard drive rather than a card. You can store about 5 hours of the highest quality video and you transfer with the usb cable like the SD-20. It is AVCHD the same as the panasonic. 10x zoom, OIS, all the usual features. The picture quality is probably better than the SD-20! I will upload some more videos soon. Cheers, John
Wow such a beautiful Music .. Who is the Artist..?
This is the best one i heard after the "Age of Mythology" Sound Tracks (Stephen Rippy, and artist Kevin McMullan)
Thank you.

After over a year of enjoying this video, I finally was smart enough to use SoundHound on it. The music is Sleepy Meadows of Buxton by Fenomenon. :)

Hi, thanks, yes I used the manual focus setting on the camera to do this, it's a bit fiddly on this camera but it can be done

You've made a nice movie again.. Is the canon working the same as the Panasonic SD20 is or is it different?
