  • i love the way it builds up and up and up. it sounds like you're heading up a mountain trail, going further and further up, and then you suddenly fall and find something epic! (like a sleeping demon or something)

  • John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Bear McCreary, Mike Oldfield, and Divinity Soundtrack (I forgot who made it D:) Should be the musical, Final Five :P Though I might put Mike Oldfield at second, Hans at fourth.. but w/e O.o They are up there :U

  • anyone love the scene where rosslin is chewing out baltar in the cell and she screams for tigh to throw his ass out of an airlock lmao. a rosslin freakout session is priceless

  • When does this play in the series?

  • Season 3,episode 7 "Hero"

  • this man greated the perfect soundtrack and is, at least on the same level as john williams or hans zimmer...

  • now we know who the Cylon god is: Bear McCreary. thumb up for the one God, heathens!

  • theres a new series coming out called falling skys so could anyone tell me if its good

    please

  • This Guys is a genius ;) Unbelivebel Soundtracks ^^

  • i only noticed this, dunno if you'all noticed as well, that on every other comments on youtube videos, they degrade into racial fighting unlike from any BSG video, may it be the OST, fan vids, etc, that end up being more civilized and more respectful?

frak, what did i just type.

    honest...

  • I'm still on the fence a bit about this episode, but as usual McCreary's music is fantastic.

  • FINALLY I HAVE FOUND THE BEST BSG SOUNDTRACK

  • 2 cylons watched this

  • @FFJunkie10 ROFL.

  • Krypter, krypter, krypter

  • Fraking amazing work - here's to much success for Mr. Mr Creary

  • I wish there is an entire song that comprises of the last section of this one.

  • This episode could have been missed out I think. As much as I love it I found some things just didn't add up.

  • OH i saw the first episode of caprica... and i must say that im not as interested, So i decided to wait until the first season is complete and ill watch it all at once. and see if it will satisfy me half way as much Battlestar Galactica did.

  • bulldog was awesome!

  • Damm kinda cool how alot of the characters have there own music haha i love the strings in this one.

  • i miss the intensity this show gave.

  • Shame Bulldog was never seen or mentioned again.

  • Yah it was one the few episodes in BSG that really did not tie in strongly with the overall plot

  • And then there's The Woman King.

  • @gorshev I read The Woman King was supposed to tie into Baltar's Trial, but the writers went back and re-wrote things...

  • Well it did have huge connotations about how the war started, who provoked who, what role Adama may have played in the fall of the colonies... pretty big tie-ins I think.

  • SO SAY WE ALL.

  • Some guy used this music in a computer game fan mission, I loved it so much I asked where it came from. :P Great music!

  • if you think the music's good you should watch the show! =]

  • Bear McCreary is a freaking Jedi Master, he has the absolute BEST music in ANY TV series EVER.

  • SO SAY WE ALL

  • SO SAY WE ALL!

  • SO SAY WE ALL!!

    Yay! Bandwagon!

  • Please. Don't talk Bear McCreary down by comparing him to a Jedi. He's at least some sort of formless entity composed of pure music. Way cooler than a Jedi.

  • @SuperSaiyanAl So Say We All. Entity of pure music > Jedi-Pansy.

  • @SuperSaiyanAl Bear is an angel blazing in the light of god.

given the gift of the musical not and a composer baton.

  • @DarkBladeAngel Are you saying that Bear McCreary is a pansy?

  • @DarkBladeAngel Agreed! I was really excited when I realized that he was the composer for "The Walking Dead."

  • Those strings are incredible!

    ♥ Bear!

  • What I love about BSG is that even the BS episodes give these amazing songs.. (see: Black Market)

  • Bloody love those violins in the background :D

  • me too!!

  • 1.21 is also quite epic

  • Frack this, spin the FTL's up, begain jump prep, the borad is green, JUMP!!

  • Comment removed

  • dont u mean "carry on my wayward son"? that's a slightly different song

  • that was the joke - don't worry, it wasn't funny to begin with

  • this is the episode with bulldog in it...?

    if so..

"KRYPTER KRYPTER KRYPTER THIS IS BULLDOG" lol

  • indeed it is.

  • I love this piece. It's very Phillip Glass.

  • at 1:20ish when the beat comes in.... what the intrument making the snare sound or the clapping or what ever it is

  • Good question. BSG soundtracks use a lot of instruments from just about everywhere. The Battlestar wiki might have your answers.

  • You may want to contact Bear Mccreary himself regarding this.

  • Your best bet is to check Bear's BSG music blog, he usually lists or at least mentions the instruments he uses.

  • I've always thought it sounded kind of like a bamboo switch. o.o

  • Those are Bachi (Taiko drumming sticks), being struck against the side of the taiko drum.

  • 3:19 starts something else altogether :P

  • at 2.43 what instrument is that

  • I think this are strings, but theres something with them...?

  • nice drumming

  • Isn't this one from the "Bulldog" episode?

  • Bear McCreary is incredibly awesome! I love this song, every element of the way it builds up and mixes strings with middle Eastern instruments and taiko drums. Fantastic, hypnotic, brilliant. It's worthy of multiple awards and hopefully McCreary gets the attention he deserves!

  • @Chipchik as long as us fans give him the attention i'm sure he appreciates our support

  • Incredible tune.....cant stop listenting to it.

  • this is 1 of my favorites its just such a great song
