FYI, at 0:20 the narrator says "equipments". In English, the word "equipment" is not made plural by adding "s". You simply say "equipment". I don't have "two equipments". I have "two pieces of equipment". Or, more commonly, you simply say "I have equipment", and the listener understands that it may mean one piece of equipment, or more than one.

@swish1234567890 : It does not amplify in the sense that it creates out of thin air...as the base current reaches threshold, the EC current is allowed to flow. This reaction is sigmoid-like in itself, but relative to the current supplied to the EC side, making it much more "amplified" compared to the base current. Some transistors are used as switches (either current is below threshold or above, no between) like that in digital setups, others are used in analog (like that in radio).
