I used it in this context because adderall is sometimes extended release-- the pill dissolves slowly over a period of hours. At the time I wasn't interested in adhering to that system. Adderall affects everyone differently. I can focus well without it, so it's actually harder for me to sit still if I take it. It's a typical amphetamine, not unlike cocaine. Not very healthy would be an understatement.
