  • What kind of camera did you use to shoot this?

  • @bmac700 The footage was shot by a mix of cameras. Fail Trail was shot with an older Canon standard def widescreen camera. The show proper was shot with a Canon Vixia HFS100. Footage shot on the Lightning Phantom was done with a GoPro.

  • Great video guys. My next bike is gonna be a recumbent by Catrike. I love their bikes and love it even more that they are all Made in the USA!

  • @rawmark Then you need to watch Episode 2. :)

  • Hey!! thats me from Lightning.. I made it in the video!!! HAHA! great show!

  • @REDRUM246 Thank you for pulling the bikes out so I could do photos. :)

  • Congratulations on your first episode!

Interesting, slightly goofy, slightly informative, maybe little more goofy... ;-)

It looks like you had fun putting a lot into the production!

The quad bike: seems it would be better if the outrigger wheels could flex with some suspension, or lean like a leaning trike. Otherwise they are little more than over-sized training wheels.

I did not understand why you had to pull the trike train at the end? why couldn't anyone ride it? I did not get that.

  • @dregerclock Sounds like you experienced just what we intended, then. :) RecumbentTV is meant to be entertainment.

In speaking with Lightning, they responded to our concerns by stating they might look into making the outriggers adjustable, but that would still be a static position vs. suspended.

And on the Fail Trail... the same question came up in the Bacchetta forums, so we could have done better with that piece. Short version: we were all really tired of sitting.

  • That was great! Question - near end of the Interbike footage, a gentleman removes what looks like an umbrella from a trike. What is it?

And no wind noise during the ride sequences nice! I am anxiously awaiting the next episode!

  • @tdosborne59 That's the Hase KLIMAX 2K - their combination of Hase Kettwiesel and foldable fairing.

It's easy to get rid of wind noise from ride sequences when none of the ride audio is used. :)

  • Great Program! Looking forward to the next one!!

  • Nice job; now do some reviews, like the rans xstream.

  • @my2cents0 If RANS sees fit to supply us with one, we'll certainly give it a go.

  • Great show. Looking forward to the next.

  • The folding trike was slick...=-)

  • Well done. =)

  • Applause! Nice to see that your review of the Phantom quad even contains critique on it.

    Keep it up, RecumbentTV!
