What i find funny most of these crazies who attack, kill, assault people are liberals or people who don't like politics/ government such as Luoghner, Bill Ayers, and a white and BLACK man on St. Lois who beat up a BLACK conservative.
This is like the battered wife syndrome, on a national level. Democrats going "No, no, don't offend the Republicans by pointing out they are thugs, because then they'll act like thugs and it'll be our fault..." No, no, no - the thug is at fault, always. And he's going to keep being a thug until someone has the balls to stand up to him and go "Not gonna take it anymore, pal. What you gonna do about it?"
Congrats Cenk for being the only man in America who makes me want to defend Rush Limbaugh. You truly have a warped view of this country and politics in general. Keep up the good work on MSNBC, they'll be finished in no time.
@cfaz10 why would u say that when some crazy republicans clearly want or unintentionally encourage a civil war? do you not see that in the quotes or on glenn beck show every single friggen day? knock knock?
@cafemartini: Like Olbermann was able to show what "morons" conservatives are? Oh yeah, he got fired. Because liberals do nothing but attack conservatives for wanting to exercise their rights granted in the Constitution.
And last I heard MSNBC has the lowest ratings of all.
The only firm belief I have in what motivates politicians to do and say what they do is to gain support in the form of money and votes. How would it benefit either party to incite murder, death and mayhem? I don't believe most politicians are smart enough to do it even if they were that evil. Most rhetoric I hear is meant to inspire supporters to vote against the opposition. The hateful speech is lazy but agitating, and I find Limbaugh is comfortable with those attitudes.
Jared Lee Loughner ADMITS that he was involved with the RIGHT WING PAC Freedom's Defense Fund and had ATTENDED and FOLLOWED Tea Party events and politics.
As a result, the FBI has launched an ancillary investigation of Arizona Tea Party activities.
i dont think its coincidence that Sarah Palin's map of the USA with crosshairs on the "enemies" had Gifford as one of the "enemy's". Then RIGHT after the shooting occured she took that picture down from her site.
I swear to god the amount of fucking publicity and in dept analysis this guy is getting is just ridiculous. I'm almost willing to bet that he did it for the publicity
There's a lot of murderers who do it just for that. They want to be called "notorious" and "dangerous", be feared, and be right up there next to Jack the Ripper and fucking Charles Manson. I'm not saying that Cenk or the others are wrong, but to a slightly disturbed person this is a perfect example of payout for assassination=fame.
I'm sorry Cenk I love your show but you're a hypocrite on this issue. On April 06, 2007, you criticized Bill O'Reilly for using a tragedy to score cheap political points. That is what you're doing now. The video is titled "Bill O'Reilly and Geraldo Rivera slug it out on TV"
These right wing tea baggers want the liberty to run their mouths and make irresponsible comments, but do not want to take responsibility for the fallout. They are sowing the wind and shall surely reap the whirlwind!
The chances of JLL being a Dittohead are exceedingly remote. He took scraps of extreme libertarian ideology and then filtered them through his own crazy mind. At that point, his *ideology* was all his own making.
For instance, name anyone else who opposes the Iraq war because "the date is wrong":
24ahead . com/n/10316
See also the FAQ linked from that.
Some of the things fringe righties/lefties say are really out there, but at least they have some connection to reality. JLL's ideas don't.
TYT, I'm disappointed. Loughner was unbalanced and emotionally stunted. He did not follow the news or media and he probably had no idea of any of the quotes Cenk lists here. Loughner was not conventionally political. He listed The Communist Manifesto as a favorite book but also Mein Kampf. His vendetta against Giffords was seemingly personal (in his own twisted mind).
This debate should not be about rhetoric, which you CAN'T control. It should be about guns, which you CAN control.
Thats a good point by Cenk. Ifyou limit fredom of speech, sooner or later a republican whacko will reinterpret it as 'limit liberal non-facist speech'.
- Can the GOP, the conservatives, the Tea Party, etc make their political points and stand by their principals with the type of language that we have been discussing?
This whole thing has reminded me, once again, just how powerful the corporate world is and how far they will go to defend their pawns. Sarah Palin being the pawn in focus, have you not noticed that the internet has been utterly flooded with the most hateful negative comments from people purporting to defend Sara Palin. It's like the internet got an influx of hatred in Sarah Palin's honor.
Just hear yourself talk. "Forefathers gave you the right to bear arms" - why so submissive?
It might well be that those who wrote the Constitution did THEIR best in THEIR times to create a system that makes sense. You, however, have the responsibility to scrutinize these rules, especially since the 2nd amendment brings about a death-toll of over 30.000 each year!
If you don´t do that, you are not a "man" at all - you are just a immature, thick kid...
this is bullshit. any excuse to attack the right huh cenk? fuck off. this was a nut job. he didnt follow any one from the right. and nice how you avoided any examples of the left. fucking hypocrite.
July 27, 2008—Jim Adkisson shoots and kills two people at a progressive church in Knoxville, Tennessee, wounding two. Adkisson calls it “a symbolic killing” because he really “wanted to kill…every Democrat in the Senate & House, the 100 people in Bernard Goldberg's book,” but was unable to gain access to them.
Just one of many examples of the consequences of the conservative political spin.
@PostBush July 27, 2008—Jim Adkisson shoots and kills two people at a progressive church in Knoxville, Tennessee, wounding two. Adkisson calls it “a symbolic killing” because he really “wanted to kill…every Democrat in the Senate & House, the 100 people in Bernard Goldberg's book,” but was unable to gain access to them.
Just one of many examples of the consequences of the conservative political spin.
July 31, 2009—On WWJB-AM in Hernando County, Florida, talk radio host Bob Haa takes a call from a listener who mentions ammunition, target practice, and Barack Obama. Haa tells him not to waste his ammunition on targets, to save it for the administration. Haa is later visited by an agent for the Secret Service.
I think Cenk's argument is misguided. Saying that the violent rhetoric that conservatives spew caused the attacks is just like saying that violent video games caused it. Loughner was an anarchist and throughout our history, anarchists have used violent tactics--some assassinations of presidents. Why is it the conservative's fault and not, let's say, some textbook that described the William McKinley assassination in 1901.
August 25, 2009—During a GOP barbecue in Twin Falls, Idaho, an audience member asks Rex Rammell, a candidate in the 2010 Idaho Republican Primary, a question about "Obama tags" during a discussion about state-issued tags for wolf hunting. Rammell responds, "The Obama tags? We'd buy some of those." In a subsequent press release, he adds, "Anyone who understands the law knows I was just joking, because Idaho has no jurisdiction to issue hunting tags in Washington, D.C."
March 23, 2010—After Mike Troxel of the Lynchburg Tea Party and Nigel Coleman of the Danville Tea Party post the home address of the brother of Rep. Tom Perriello (D-VA) and urge supporters to "drop by," someone deliberately cuts a propane gas line at the house. Rep. Perriello is targeted by the Tea Party activists because of his vote in favor of health care reform. Perriello's brother and his wife have four children under the age of eight.
No network is calling the right out on blaming the left for Arizona, but the left can't even mention conservatives and Loughner in the same sentence without having a shit fit.
@Blac13 - Actually, directly after the shooting, the media was already blaming it on the tea party before they even knew what happened. This is just another example of the lefts strategy of unfairly assassinating the character of their political opponents.
November 2009—Billboard is erected on I-70 in Lafayette County, Missouri, that promotes "a citizens guide to REVOLUTION." It urges Missourians to "LIVE FREE OR DIE" and "PREPARE FOR WAR" with a corrupt government. The billboard is highlighted at the Lafayette County Republicans website.
February 20, 2009—FOX commentator Glenn Beck hosts a program that games a 2014 civil war scenario called “The Bubba Effect.” It involves citizen militias in the South and West taking up arms against the U.S. government.
“Bubba Effect” …Racist?
“taking up arms against the U.S. government” … Treason?
November 29, 2010—U.S. Rep. Joe Barton (R-TX), the ranking Republican on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, circulates a PowerPoint presentation to his colleagues in which he compares the Obama administration to the Nazi regime in Germany and likens himself to Gen. George Patton, bragging, "Put anything in my scope and I will shoot it."
well fist, the sick bastard obviously was obsessed with the congresswomen for long time.
and secondly it is obvious that he acted on right wing media/politicians hateful political agenda/rhetoric to carry his sick crimes after he realized she's not giving him enough attention.
@henleythecat The Left's incendiary rhetoric: "PRESIDENT PLANS SPRING OFFENSIVE": TARGETS WALL STREET, SCHOOLS, CAMPAIGN FINANCE, ENERGY... I can do this all day long.... This is the very hate in which you hold in contempt. Both sides are culpable..... Take your hate elsewhere....Let's not forget the film: death of a president. The hate started from your side and ends with this massacre.....
@sunofthecea - There is plenty of unfair, untrue and racist liberal hate speech- just look at how the whole liberal world attacked the tea-party for its own political benefit. Ben Jealous, president of NAACP: "These groups and individuals are out there, and we ignore them at our own peril,".. Janeane Garafalo "bunch of rednecks".. And then there is our fearless leader, Obama saying "teabaggers".. Seriously, the level hatred directed at non liberals is insane and I say this as an independent.
July 15, 2009—Katherine Crabill, a Republican candidate for the Virginia House of Delegates in the state’s 99th District makes headlines by calling on Americans to resist the course President Obama has set for the country. Appearing at a “Tea Party” rally, Crabill quotes a 1775 speech by Patrick Henry & then states, “We have a chance to fight this battle at the ballot box before we have to resort to the bullet box. But that's the beauty of our Second Amendment right.
March 11, 2009—NRA CEO Wayne LaPierre speaks at the 2009 Conservative Political Action Conference and announces that “Our Founding Fathers understood that the guys with the guns make the rules.”
So the NRA would prefer rule by gun vs. rule of law
The real tragedy is a mentally ill man who was never diagnosed and didn't receive treatment for his illness. If someone in his life had paid attention to the obvious warning signs and gotten him help, then all of those innocent people wouldn't have died.
@hughster41 You think if the United States were ruled by a dictator, he would need to take away your gun to instill the fear of death in you? You know they have nuclear warheads, right? The truth is that today, guns or no guns, the government could kill all of us any time it wanted to with complete ease. I'm not saying that this is a good thing, but it's our reality, and it makes the Second Amendment completely obsolete.
@hughster41 False. What about Booth? What about T. Roosevelt would-be assassin John F. Schrank. Hinckley, Guiteau and Lawrence (Jackson would-be assassin) were all psychotic, with no coherent political beliefs. The only two true somewhat coherent liberals I know of are Oswald and Czolgosz, who I might add were well outside of the mainstream, whereas Booth and Schrank were both mainstream conservatives. Also we don't know for sure about Kennedy (Take it from a huge conspiracy theory skeptic).
Tit for tat. They all do it silly man!!! The Real Radio Hatemongers- Left-Wing Radio Hosts' Track Record of Vile and Vicious Rhetoric. Wishing conservatives would die.
Don't believe it??? Find out for yourself: wwwDOTmrcDOTorg /specialreports/ 2010/ RealRadioHatemongers/ DeathWish. aspx
Please sign the petition to indict Sarah Palin for inciting violence in the attempted assassination of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords. The link is at the top of the comments section on my channel. The petition was started by Dr Stuart Jeanne Bramhall and is directed to the US Dept. of Justice. Please share the link, email, repost, and feature it.
@factchecking101 How are these allegations absurd? He merely cites specific examples of right wing politicians and commentators calling for violent public insurrection, and thus concluding logically that subsequent violent public insurrection was at least in part influenced by their encouragement of violent public insurrection. Give me one example of a liberal encouraging violent public insurrection.
Fuck all you brainwashed conservative douchebags hating on Cenk, he doesn't know EVERYTHING, but he can at least observe and analyze multiple accounts of evidence, and use logic and common sense to come up with a reasonable theory, something you trolls can't do, FUCK YOU.
Once again even the liberals are calling these absurd allegations outrageous. Cenk is so far left, he lost sight of the left years ago. You and you're hate speech are disgusting Cenk.
and no violence from the left, Cenk you are a complete moron. Now, where is the hard evidence that this directly effected this shooter. Nice try Cenk but the narrative is old.
@hughster41 Are you aware that the definition of 'liberalism' has changed over the years? How can you say that the 'liberals of today' have caused all assassination attempts when the time span is so large? God you are a moron.
this episode of the yt is brought to you by former nazi goerge soros, and failed liberal ideology that has also given us other great things like Detriot, Acorn, and Californias debt.
I don't think limiting free speech and preventing people from having guns is the answer, but I do think that those who incite violence with their words and imagery should be strongly pressured into toning it down.
I am a peaceful person. If a gang of Sarah Palin/Glen Beck-style psychopaths would come to my house to beat me up or murder me, do you think I would just cold-heartedly shoot dead one after the other of them, then watch my favorite show on tv while eating popcorn? No - I would shit my pants! As this is NOT THE STYLE I ENGAGE IN POLITICS. Please tell me WHO´S style it would be?
A world where guns talk is a FUCKED UP world. I wonder why you advertise it.
Cenk is simply an incompetent sell out desperate to secure a contract on MSNBC or CNN. Neither will happen because he is aloof. But put his comments in perspective. In fact…rewind and you will find that none of his comments present a logical thought process. They are all Hail Mary passes in an attempt to self promote.
Hitler got there BECAUSE THE PEOPLE WANTED HIM. You are quite naive in believing all it takes to take over a country is to "take away the people´s guns", and then you can be the dictator.
By the way: When Hitler began, he "cleared his path" by instilling FEAR OF DEATH within his opponents, so they would not dare to speak up any more, which is EXACTLY what your rightwing-fanatics like Bachmann, O´Reilly, Beck and so forth try to do. Fear of death instead of power of good arguments.
Move to Cuba I can tell your ass never bin in Cuba I'm Canadian and it's very safe there I can walk at night with a gold chain nice shoes and feel safer there than in America.
Loughner's rants on his YT channel are not much loonier than Glenn Beck's chalkboard conspiracies about liberal Nazis and Russian Kings overtaking the American government. People who take Beck seriously should be kept away from knives, forks and guns.
That´s exactly right. The only chance we have is building GOOD GOVERNMENTS TOGETHER. If we leave it to the most trigger-happy dimwits in our societies to decide which politician is to live, and who is to be shot dead, our cultures will be finished soon!
Guns only in the hands of policemen. Not in the hands of mentally unstable, politically fanatic lunatics!
A study recently showed that in conservative´s brains, the areas responsible for fear are much larger than in the brains of liberals. So what you are doing is run around fear driven, paranoid, shitting your pants 24/7 about imaginary enemies and transforming your world into a hellish place of "self-defense". How come dozens of countries live without armed citizens, in peace, and are definitely NOT run by dictators?
@flyingmagiccarpet :a study huh? from who, the three stooges? libturds like you want gun control, but only for the law abiding citizens. criminals will always get the guns they need, no matter what laws are passed. and just who are the countries with no crime and living in peace? LOL
The study was done by New York University and UCLA.
There are different degrees to criminals. Your everyday shoplifter would definitely not have a gun, a mafia-killer would. Tens of thousands of suicides per year could be avoided, gun-accidents, children shooting themselves with their parents´ unsecured guns and so on and so forth.
But I believe America will need thousands more innocent gun-victims, before such SIMPLE facts will penetrate the NRA-brainwashed minds of the masses.
@flyingmagiccarpet Wow "magic" here is professing that gun suicides will be averted if guns were eliminated. That is by far the most brilliant and lucid stance on gun control I have ever heard
People who have guns ready at hand are MUCH more likely to commit suicide than people who "only" have other means to commit suicide at hand. No wonder - it´s so easy to pull the trigger.
Now if your derisive comment towards me was made so as to poke fun at me because "I care", then fuck you.
@flyingmagiccarpet Yeah you would have to a simpelton to believe that bullshit from a libturd university. You are just a typical dumbass libturd. People kill people moron, and they will kill with or without guns. So believe in your leftist Saul ALinksy bullshit. The American people are gonna own guns, the 2nd Amendment is here to stay, long after your dead an in hell (Your an athiest too I bet). The fact is you cocks are the minority, like 20% libturd, the rest center-right. Just deal with it.
May 6, 2010—Dr. Christina Jeffrey, a Republican candidate in South Carolina, posts a YouTube video where she holds an AK-47 rifle and tells viewers, "Why do we have the Second Amendment? The Second Amendment ensures all of our other rights ... The Second Amendment was placed in the Constitution, plainly, to ensure that our limited government stayed limited and that we would be able to enforce those limitations if need be ... We are a sovereign people. A sovereign people is an armed people."

The Second Amendment was placed in the Constitution, plainly, to ensure that our limited government stayed limited and that we would be able to enforce those limitations if need be ... One thing I would like to ask those who think the 2nd amendment ensures a decent government:
How do they think a society will look like if all politicians live in fear of getting murdered any time? How will the people who elected a murdered politician feel about that? America, as any democracy, first of all is responsible about WHOM THEY VOTE FOR. And America re-elected a torture-supporting war criminal and enemy to human rights. Guns don´t help there, at all. Maybe education!
@flyingmagiccarpet I agree that there should be no link between the 2nd amendment and voting, or the quality of government.
The only explanation, or rather speculation, as to what there are people think that there is a linkage is that that linkage may have made sense in the 18th century and the false assumption that what was true then must still be true.
Absolutely. Personally, I think the experience of many of these early Americans with foreign rule, or the then-authoritarian societies in europe where they were coming from might have played a big role in this consideration.
April 13, 2010—Reports surface that state Sen. Randy Brogdon (R-OK) and Rep. Charles Key (R-OK) have met with Oklahoma Tea Party groups to discuss the formation of a new "volunteer militia" to defend against what they see as improper federal infringements on state sovereignty. Brogdon states that the Founding Fathers "were not referring to a turkey shoot or a quail hunt…” with references to the 2nd Amendment
April 10, 2010—At a "Second Amendment March" organized by the Connecticut Citizens Defense League, Martha Dean, the Republican candidate for state Attorney General... "If government is legitimate and truly is the voice of the people, it need never fear the people themselves when they’re armed. Only a government that uses secrecy and force to impose improper laws [to] which the people do not consent need fear the wrath of its law-abiding citizens at the ballot box or, ultimately, with ARMS …
Hahaha..."the people" - as if this "the people" would be a homogenous group of competent, inerrant experts on "legitimate government" and "proper laws"! Politicians (i.e. "the government") COME from the people. Does this mean that politicians, in turn, have the right to assassinate citizens at will when they think a citizen is "illegitimate" in his actions or behaves "improperly"? These death-cult gun-lovers are amazingly immature in their train of thoughts! This is scary.
April 7, 2010 Gregory Lee Giusti, 48, of San Francisco, California, is arrested for making threatening phone calls to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). Giusti allegedly called Pelosi dozens of times, recited her home address, and told her that if she wanted to see it again, she should drop her support for health care reform legislation
Giusti had a "history of mental health problems" and his mother indicated he was influenced by "Fox News and all of those that are really radical."
DNC posted "Targets" on USA map, Obumbles said "they bring a knife, we bring a gun" and other bullshit. What a bunch of fucking hypocrties. And Cenk is one of them.
@uzimodem The right-wing made a campaign based on revolution and with a violent/gun/civil war theme. The left-wing did not. You cited 2 incidents from the left and falsely equivocate that with an entire campaign theme from the right. There is no way you are going to win this discussion, and I think you know it but are hoping that you can call for a victory if no one counters you on youtube. When you resort to that, you need to review what you stand for.
Indeed. Now, Americas rightwing, haunted by their own responsibility, nervously search for examples where any leftwing politician incited violence (or did anything that even REMOTELY looks like it). Of course, they can´t come up with anything substantial. As you say: With the rightwing, it was a entire CAMPAIGN that was meant to polarize, divide, and ultimately incite hatred. Anyone can see that. Conservatives must be real desensitized already if they find this behavior normal!
@Starry2000 : a revolution? wtf are you talking about? and the left? yeah you have plenty of leftists WANTING revolution and all of it is in print and VIDEO. Those 2 I cited are excellent example of left wing hypocrites who say that RHETORIC is the cause, when you on the left have said the most vile and sickening things. Win the argument? you sure YOU want to try that shit? You need to review what you stand for when you leftists just an hour after the shootings started this bullshit. unreal.
I can see there is not a lot of point in talking to you. As far as you are concerned, the last couple of years did not happen and you are totally ignorant.
That is the only argument you have left, and you're going to use it. Good luck with that man.
@Starry2000 LOL yeah that is what I thought. you say "revolution" and nothing to back it up. what a fucking libturd saul alinksy fucking hack. just like your other fellow muther fuckers who couldnt back up their shit, they shifted to "gun Control" LOL you fucking cocksucking bitch. take your HOLLOW accusations and stick it up your dildo sucking ass you cock.
@uzimodem "ou say "revolution" and nothing to back it up"
This video cites at least two clear examples of what I am talking about. Others include one candidate sitting down with the founding fathers and Lincoln, where it was determined to be time for another Civil War and he grabs a gun. The Tea Party rallies - everything about them. The entire Right-Wing campaign theme has been about violent revolution, and if they didn't get their way...
@uzimodem Pretty much the only argument that you have is that you don't know what everyone else is talking about. Asking me to review the video and recent history with you doesn't actually somehow validate your point it just further embellishes the idea that you're ignorant about the topic at hand.
March 21, 2010—As the House enters a final round of debate over the health care reform bill, Conservative blogger Solomon "Solly" Forrell calls for the assassination of President Barack Obama on his Twitter account
In two separate postings, Forrel writes, "ASSASSINATION! America, we survived the #Assassinations of #Lincoln & #Kennedy. We'll surely get over a bullet 2 #BarackObama's head! ... The next #American with a #Clear #Shot should drop #Obama like a bad habit."
Are we being lead to think Jews had something to do with this event? Did the Jews do 911? Or are we being lead to think so? People are afraid to accuse the Jews, because they fear being called Anti-Semitic, but is that what people are thinking? That the Jews are responsible? I can ask the question for hundreds of events, but look at Revelation 2:9 , Are we being lead to think it is the Jews? Or Are they just the Patsy’s? for a much more evil group?
@treez78 You are welcome. Let me mention Standard Oil co. Their crime??? Selling oil too cheap, and other oil co`s needed the anti trust, to get prices higher, to stay in business.
February 13, 2010—An unidentified speaker at an event organized by the Lewis and Clark Tea Party Patriots in Asotin County, Washington, tells the audience, "How many of you have watched the movie "Lonesome Dove"? What happened to Jake when he ran with the wrong crowd? He got hung. And that's what I want to do with [Democratic U.S. Senator] Patty Murray."
This was followed by someone stocking and treating Murry... But that's O.K, he was a nut!
GOP loves a good WAR ... and their side has most of the guns!
Of-course it would be an act of treason, but hay, we have the guns, so we make the rules.
November 23, 2010—Larry Pratt, the Executive Director of Gun Owners of America, writes an editorial in The Register Citizen in which he calls for state and county sheriffs to organize large, armed "posses" as "a check on the unconstitutional exercise of federal power."
Where in the constitution does it state that gun owners decide what is and is not unconstitutional?
September 28, 2009—Rep. Paul Broun (R-GA), the Chairman of the Second Amendment Task Force in the U.S. House of Representatives, calls House Speaker Nancy Pelosi a “domestic enemy of the Constitution” at a health care reform town hall meeting.
Duly elected speaker of the house is a "“domestic enemy"? Really?
August 25, 2009—During a GOP barbecue in Twin Falls, Idaho, an audience member asks Rex Rammell, a candidate in the 2010 Idaho Republican Primary, a question about "Obama tags" during a discussion about state-issued tags for wolf hunting. February 20, 2009—FOX commentator Glenn Beck hosts a program that games a 2014 civil war scenario called “The Bubba Effect.” It involves citizen militias in the South and West taking up arms against the U.S. government.
"Bubba Effect"... sounds raciest to me.
"Taking up arms against [govt]" ... sounds like a call to treason.
Is that a political motive or point to all of this?
TYT - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE - start the call to SUE Palin!!!! Lets all pitch in and put the money up to take her to court and make a case that the words she said incited hatred and violence that led to death. Lets take these turkeys out LEGALLY and WITHOUT violence. SUE them and make them accountable for their despicable actions.
September 22, 2008—The National Rifle Association launches its GunBanObama website, which predicts that Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, “if elected…would be the most anti-gun president in American history.” The website is part of a $15 million NRA campaign to discredit Obama
And after Obama signed an executive order lifting the ban on guns in Fed parks, the Tea Party had an anti-Obama rally across the Potomac at a Fed park.
March 11, 2009—NRA CEO Wayne LaPierre speaks at the 2009 Conservative Political Action Conference and announces that “Our Founding Fathers understood that the guys with the guns make the rules.”
So the NRA would prefer rule by gun vs. rule of law?
@henleythecat 1) Patriot act & the health care reform bill. 2) that determination would be left up to the courts which won't do anything because they're as corrupt as the politicians, ultimately it falls on the people. which is the reason behind the second amendment.
"You think Obama would take FOX's right to speak? No Democrat would do that."
"Rep. Robert Brady, D-Pennsylvania, said he will introduce legislation making it a federal crime for a person to use language or symbols that could be perceived as threatening or inciting violence against a Member of Congress or federal official."
@Freethought42 And let see were that gets, Nowhere! King of New York (Republican) want to make it illegal to have gun within 1000 yard of a congressman or federal official, bill in the trash! IT IS ILLEGAL TO MAKE A THREAT AGAINST A MEMBER OF CONGRESS, THE PRESIDENT OR VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.
Well, I hate to nit pick one point out of the video but there isn't enough space for a detailed post. I agree with much of what you said and appreciate the clarity you're offering. It's still not the rhetoric that's the problem. Now, the nit pick. President Obama has already attempted to limit Fox News by keeping them out of press conferences. He changed his mind when other news organizations expressed their displeasure with the Presidents decision.
None talk about mental health intervention before these people commit the crimes, that they have told everybody about.or protecting americans from these acts. they twist your minds with the blame game. "Not a word from their mouth can be trusted; their heart is filled with malice. Their throat is an open grave; with their tongues they tell lies. Psalm 5:8-10 "
@vincevince801 Its not Republicans who lie. That is why you dems and liberals hate us, because we do not lie. We say what we believe and thats is what pisses you all off so much. We talk about God, we talk about what we really believe in, we are not afraid of guns, and we do not change for anyone. Its the democrats who will say whatever they ha
What i find funny most of these crazies who attack, kill, assault people are liberals or people who don't like politics/ government such as Luoghner, Bill Ayers, and a white and BLACK man on St. Lois who beat up a BLACK conservative.

For instance, name anyone else who opposes the Iraq war because "the date is wrong":

I prefer hunting turkey and quail

April 10, 2010—At a "Second Amendment March" organized by the Connecticut Citizens Defense League, Martha Dean, the Republican candidate for state Attorney General... "If government is legitimate and truly is the voice of the people, it need never fear the people themselves when they’re armed. Only a government that uses secrecy and force to impose improper laws [to] which the people do not consent need fear the wrath of its law-abiding citizens at the ballot box or, ultimately, with ARMS …

@ henleythecat:

And Cenk is one of them.
uzimodem 1 year ago
@uzimodem The right-wing made a campaign based on revolution and with a violent/gun/civil war theme. The left-wing did not. You cited 2 incidents from the left and falsely equivocate that with an entire campaign theme from the right. There is no way you are going to win this discussion, and I think you know it but are hoping that you can call for a victory if no one counters you on youtube. When you resort to that, you need to review what you stand for.
Starry2000 1 year ago
@ Starry2000:

You need to review what you stand for when you leftists just an hour after the shootings started this bullshit. unreal.

@uzimodem "wtf are you talking about?"
I can see there is not a lot of point in talking to you. As far as you are concerned, the last couple of years did not happen and you are totally ignorant.
That is the only argument you have left, and you're going to use it. Good luck with that man.

@Starry2000 LOL yeah that is what I thought. you say "revolution" and nothing to back it up. what a fucking libturd saul alinksy fucking hack. just like your other fellow muther fuckers who couldnt back up their shit, they shifted to "gun Control" LOL you fucking cocksucking bitch. take your HOLLOW accusations and stick it up your dildo sucking ass you cock.
uzimodem 1 year ago
@uzimodem "ou say "revolution" and nothing to back it up"
This video cites at least two clear examples of what I am talking about. Others include one candidate sitting down with the founding fathers and Lincoln, where it was determined to be time for another Civil War and he grabs a gun. The Tea Party rallies - everything about them. The entire Right-Wing campaign theme has been about violent revolution, and if they didn't get their way...

@Starry2000 wow. you really are a left wing lunatic. fantasy and make believe. pathetic.
uzimodem 1 year ago

GOP loves a good WAR ... and their side has most of the guns!
Of-course it would be an act of treason, but hay, we have the guns, so we make the rules.

1. Where is it not?
2. Who make that determination (in the constitution)
henleythecat 1 year ago
This has been flagged as spam show
@henleythecat 1) Patriot act & the health care reform bill. 2) that determination would be left up to the courts which won't do anything because they're as corrupt as the politicians, ultimately it falls on the people. which is the reason behind the second amendment.

Backing it up with law doesn't change the nature of things.
