actually you only need ffmpeg and some typing in the terminal (e.g. $ ffmpeg -i input.ogv -b 5000k output.avi), you don't really need to install all that crap.
of course, if you don't mind a few extra megs of disk usage, need transmageddon for other stuff or just prefer a gui interface, then it's fine..
can anyone say me what packages are now important for transmageddon??? it doesnt works, and i installed all packages that you showed ! (not with flash, but with avi it does)
@xXEduBuntuXx as said in the video you need to download alot of the codec that are in the Ubuntu software center....if you have it working in AVI format then you should be able to upload it to youtube
