  • Ha so i was right that is a june bug. these always hit me in the face when i watch the 4th of July fireworks. I always say how nasty it is when they hit me and my parents are like its july they can't be june bugs. I was right.

  • june bougs are huge just look at that monster

  • June bugs are cool

  • For your safety, I hope the june bug was that black widow's last supper before execution.

  • holy shit im all itchy now i h8 spiders n other bugz theyre so creepy

  • She's either been eating a lot of june bugs or she is about to lay eggs

  • I gave a brown widow one of those green junebugs

  • When I lived near Los Angeles they would all gather on the spring door at night, like a whole army of them. The bigger ones make loud hissing noises when you pick them up. Here in the desert you hardly ever see them (Thank Zeus)

  • Good. Junebugs scare the fuck outta me. well spiders do too but thats why I have a potato cannon and a home made flamethrower :)

  • hahaah shit

  • Always be prepared, bro lol

  • I HATE June Bugs, im glad that spider is killing it.

  • *screams like a little girl* ... ahem

That's friggin cool. Poor june bug... lol hope after you got the vid you stepped on them both. Don't need to worry about it anymore (PHEW!!) :D

  • So they do have thier purpose in nature. Nice.

  • thats a red back!

  • This is not a Redback spider, but Black Widow spiders are very closely related to Redbacks.

  • both are deadly

  • yeah thats what i thought at first but there are some species of widows that have markings on their back too. like red dots and such or stripes, but all have the hourglass on the bottom

  • L. mactans is a good example of this

  • KILL IT!

  • Looks like she's raping the corpse..

  • are black widows the same family as red backs?

  • woah...

  • Good! I usually don't cheer for a black widow but June bugs are fucking retarded and annoying!

  • omg i fucking hate that spider in sydney they r called red backs they r posines i got biten by one and the docter said i had a fifty persent chance of dying

  • Red back spiders are different than Black Widows, although, they're in the same family.

  • ya the brown ones are june bugs and those big ass green ones are june beetles. there is a difference or mabey its the other way around. but you can tie string to the big green ones and they fly around on the string.

  • what the hell is a june bug. lol what a dumbass where the fuck r u from

  • owned!

  • what the hell is june bug

  • lol!!!

  • A 'June Bug'is a large beetle that loves light. Those little bastards that eat your grass roots grow into these things. They tend to fly into lights during the warm months of summer. They are the colour of bronze, and are relatively harmless once mature.

  • they love grapes -.-

  • little beetles. annoying, but cute if you pick one up.

  • i am really mad right now

if you guys get a chance go to aftermath of a black widow bite

i thought a piece of gauze was a tapeworm because it looked like one and was being pulled out of his skin

so now i am suddenly am an idiot

Well excuse me for being HUMAN!!!!!!!!

  • DAYUM, that spider's got some junk in her trunk!

  • i love these things! we have them here in washinton and their everywhere.

  • ha! good luck.

  • well i hope they bite u bcuz.. .who would love a thing that deadly?

  • where do u usually find black widow spiders?

  • under rocks, wood, dry places

  • freaky... we only have males around where I live...

  • lol, widows eat their ex-husbandsex-husbandsex-husbandsex-husbandsex-husbandsex-husbandsex-husbandsex-husbandsex-husbandsex-husbandsex-husbandsex-husbands. [i'm not sure how many times they have done that.]

  • i was at a rental house cause my house was getting remolded, and i kicked over a rock and saw a bunch of black widow spiders (but i thought that they were not because i thought they had the red hourglass on their backs) and i was just freaked out lol. great vid btw =D

  • I live in England and they occasionally stray from the countryside, for instance i had one in my room EEK.

  • i fucking hate spiders i wish they all fuckign died omg so nasty yes i am a duded and is scared of fuckgin spiders so creepy D:

  • I so fucking agree dude i have arachnophobia

    DIE FUCKING SPIDERS!

  • They are so beautiful I love them! I wish I could live with these gorgeous creatures! Where do you live that you can film them?

  • owned!! :)

  • i have 2 near my dads car oil p[lates

  • where is this

  • i saw this black widow just hanging out and then i decided to feed it. i searched my house for cockroaches, got one and threw it in the black widow's web and it at it

  • Where do you guys live where I can find these?

  • black widows are almost everywhere, australia, north and south america etc.

  • Uh, did the spider get it? I considered trying to throw one into a web. Thought the carapace would've been too tough the the bug too big for it though. :S

  • black window spider can kill a man easly i mean it is 10 times stronger then posion from a cobra so i think it got it ;)

  • Uh, well for one, I was talking about the carapace, can the spider pierce it...lol that last sentence of mine looks like I wrote it while being drunk...and I don't drink...I was probably tired...

Er...two, a black widow isn't that dangerous. Hardly anyone dies from them.

  • yeh wth ur a proper smart arse

  • ???

  • OMG INSANE WORLD OF THE TOILET

Please use the umbrella because it's dry

  • the venom of the spider goes for the nervous system and for the size of it, it can kill you if u get bitten

  • i have a blackwidow on the side of my house

  • aussie funnel web is the most deadliest..fortunately it only lives in aussie.and they have a anti venom, but its only good once.

  • A vipers not a bug though =]

  • Citation needed. =)

  • theyve killed before.its just not a usaul occurance becuase they inject very little venom.and the male ones dont even bite.

  • I catch these things all the time and I squish them in my bare hands. They never have time to react.

  • Deaths after black widow spider bites were reported in 2001 and 2003 in Spain and Greece.

  • In Spain there are no Black Widows. In fact, the only lethal bug in Spain is a viper snake, and it's only dangerous if you are a child or if you don't seek medical advice (no counting allergics, of course). As you see in my english ;-) , I'm spanish, and i'm a nurse. I know what I'm talking about.

  • @tomh2006 i think he met the june bug theres no way the black widow

  • No one has ever died from a Black Widow. Fact. You can look it up.

  • the wierd thing is, is that, that little girl can kill you!

  • in response to rolexx....

he didn't save it because you should never interfere with the course of nature.

  • You just dont want to intefere with a widow anyway

  • lol..

  • Umm why did you let that poor bug just die? Why didn't you help it? You fucking asshole!

  • stfu tree hugger

  • Chill out, hippie, it's just a frickin' june bug...

  • rolexx, its just the natural course of life. the natural food chain. if that spider didnt have that june bug, then it may have died from starvation.

  • Yeah, they give you spider powers :P

  • they cant kill u

  • god dang man pwnt lol

  • UH oh spiderman

  • I'd get a jar and some twigs and keep it.

  • That spider was big but I didn't know how big junebugs were?

  • im bored thats y watch this

  • Fuckin big ass spider

  • the spider is pretty small wtf you blabin about pussy boy

  • Sure its small, but it can kill a full grown elephant in 15 minutes.

  • You're a f--kin moron, these things can kill you in a few minutes...

    [x]melanieinuyasha

  • scary lol

  • h8 spiders even the UK ones which r deadly wot so ever

  • She's havin' a hard time rollin' HIS fatass up!

  • in the Bug Gladiator movies on youtube theres this praying mantis named Samson that eats 2-3 black widows at a time, holding one in each claw.

  • the funnel web spider is not the most deadly. the spider with the strongest venom is the brazilian wandering spider though NO SPIDERS can be considered extremely dangerous.just leave them alone and don't try to squash them, and they won't try to get you an appointment with death.

  • brown recluse is cool to

  • I thought the Funnel Web Spider was the most deadly.

  • ^You drowned a spider with a stick? Interesting.

  • my house used to be full of black widows when i was little...i got bit once and now have a terrible phobia XD

    evil little buggers...

...and i premote spider-drowners like you lol

  • lmfao

  • I think Atrax robustus from Australia is considered more dangerous. It is certainly more aggressive. Widow spiders are pretty timid and rarely bite unless they feel threatened or are defending an eggsack. I handle mine all the time. Besides, healthy adults almost never die of widow bites.

  • not THAT many people die of black widow poison. heck, the most it really does is make to sick. then you die... probably... i had one in my house before :D i put it in a plastic cup and drowned it with a stick

  • Dude, sweet video, also - black widows aren't even in the top 20 (20!) most poisonous spiders. Go to Australia or South America, then come back. You'll like them more.

  • Uh, what? Do you realize that the black widow/redback kills more people than any other spider, as of recently? Granted it's a totally insignificant number...but exactly ZERO people have been killed by funnel web spiders and wandering spiders ever since antivenin was developed for both.

  • oh i had 1 in my back yard i put a fly in its web see what would happen, and of course it webbed it up and sucked the juice, it was awsome

  • we eat that which is dead in order to live =D ahh the circle of life
