sounds like it could be a song from a radiohead album, Amnesiac and Kid A come to mind. This is of course assumign Thom Yorke could sing like James Dean Bradfield, Not slagging radiohead, just saying that the manics might be at least as versatile musically as them.

The manics havn't been a good band since "if you tolerate this" and even then they were living off of past days. They're just not what they were and never will be again.
I went to see them in 98 while they were still a good band and they were at the height of there fame.
Maybe you need to listen again to "Know your enemy".
If that album isn´t musically interesting and phylosophycally provocative for you, go buy a pair of ears.
The manics never followed a straight path, specially in their music. EVERY album is different from the other. Obviously, they don´t care to "be what they were". That´s an stupid idea, contrary to one´s own mental evolution.
The lyrics are there. The music (different from yesterday) is there.
@Fersantos1984zzz | kye was their biggest fuck up, ask them, i think the chorus of one of the songs on that album was passable and that's about it, the millenium gig was the last time they amounted to anything and masses against the classes was the last song of that era of the manics... everything after that has been a piecemeal wasteland...
Lifeblood was a great album, it just wasn't what they used to do, therefore the critics hated it. You just have to ignore the critics who slag it off.
Send Away the Tigers is lacking something though...
*cough!* they are not dead! they still rock you stupid shit bag! they are older now and they calmeed down a bit now! their new album is great and wat do ya expect richey aint in the band anymore and he used 2 ryt the lyrics and they are 38 now so wat do ya expect! they wont relese a video lyk love's sweet exile anymore (that is 1 great vid o.0) but just fuk off! you clearly no nothing bout thev manics! go crawl up ur own arse "fatuesque"
oh, fatuesque! you'll be happy to know that they are working on 'the holy bible' part two! i might be young but i love the manics and adore them, im hoping to start a band and create amasing great music like them!
i especially love new art riot!, my fave manics song has to be archives of pain, the holy bible contained great lyrics! and if im not a true fan then you dont know what you are talking bout.. sucker!
I couldn't wait to hear this song on Lifeblood and i was very dissapointed when it wasn't on there. I don't normally buy singles so i didn't realize it was the B-side to Richard Nixon for a while. I eventually got it but i didn't think the studio version was as good as this
Still so happy having been able to see them live in Vanaja festival summer of 2011

The manics are dead.
They used to rock and i went to see them play once but the lyrics mean nothing ,the songs are pretty pointless.
I guess theyre all millionaires now so they dont give a fuck anyways.

If they didn't give a fuck anymore, why would they still keep on making music, trying their best to please fans and to make creative stuff?!
