  • we hear nothing !! its an old truck

  • you shuld just put a diesel in it outa a ford

  • "I wish clearing it out involved dropping a rod" precisely how i feel some days... WELL SAID!

  • This pour old truck sounded like Bama played against South Carolina a few weeks ago!haha! Thankfully you got her running like a champion now!lol!

  • Definitely not running up to chevrolet standards.haha, at least in that vid. When the new improoved 1969 chevrolet runs on vid, it will be interesting to see how that 2 barrell works!

  • Looking forward to first start of 2010 since you did all that work on that one. Enjoying the broncow assembley vids.

  • all im waiting to happen is BOOM (headshot) lmao

  • pump those brakes up. lol

  • My late grandpa had a pickup truck that bore the nickname you should give that one. He used it to hall cal crap kinda like you're doing with that one. It was a 1963 GMC he referred to as the "shit truck."haha. I'd love to hear that oldy run right, I agree with you, Pal.

  • It first sounded like a Merlin out of a P-51 mustang

  • We have the same truck and it does the same thing just got it this year. It is a good truck once you get it goin tho

  • "Brakes are for sissies" trust me, when you farm the northeastern that me and my family do, you welcome brakes with open arms! lol

  • oh whys that

  • Some of the ground that we make hay on is steeper than you can get up with a truck and trailer.

  • ahh... dad taught each one of us kids to drive in a 60 ford (the yellow ford in some of my videos) that never had brakes... said it would teach us to be more careful and be less prone to panic in an emergency... and thats all hed let us drive until he was satisfied that wed learned lol... so we learned to downshift and I guess thats where the attitude came from

  • Oh I don't have a problem with it, I'm just saying, around this part of the country, you need them. Your dad had a good theory on teaching y'all to keep your cool, that's for sure.

  • if the eingne blows a rod dont giv a crap

  • my thoughts exactly

  • Sh..ure is alot of manure lol! Id chuck that carb out so fast. I had one of those fixed then the engine threw a rod.

  • now i know why the diesel engine was invented

  • amen to that brother

  • ok iv been woundering for a while you always load the manure on a dump truck where dose it go form there? do you not spread it on your fields?

  • nope we pile it usuallyin strategic locations to help control wash from rain and runnoff

  • you are such a risk taker wayne! the thing is though, is you are always right, haha

  • Wayne; u really need to switch that carb out and replace it with the one u picked up that was in the video of the 57 a week or so ago cause u cant go through dealing with that piece of shit carb thats on that truck now the way it is. I mean why should u have to deal with that?; u shouldn't have to!!! go for it man get it swapped out and be done with it! :)

  • Fix it already bro work your majig sla[ that 2barrel on there

  • I think the problem is the ignition, or the carb is too rich..

  • yea get ready to drop a rood doing that

  • it's a chevy what elts do ya want ya i know it is the carb but it a chevy carb i rest my case i bet if you put a for carb on it it would run a lot better it would run even better with a ford engine just saying ... i love the video 5*****

  • People that call them Quadra-junk obviously never had one of the millions that weren't full of trash and dirt like this ones sounds to be.

And, they take just a SMIDGE more understanding of carburetion to work on so if you ain't got that, leave it alone. This one is old enough to have a brass float, did you see if it's got a hole in it?

Pull that thing off and send it to me, and when you get it back it will run like it has fuel injection, guaranteed.

  • I imagine after 40 years it needs a rebuild.

  • ya the quadra-junk carb is the bigest joke ever. we bought a chevy pick up to use as a plow truck. it did not even make it into january befor i "accidentaly" through a rod or two. the carb got so bad it would not start without pumping the fuck out of it even when it was warm then when you took your foot off the gas 5 sec later it died and you would have to put a screw driver in the choke. but i fixed it for good. i just put it in first gear and floored it. try it, it works if your chuch holds up

  • Ha ha hey there's molly, but anyways just being a Chevy has nothing to do with it, there's a guy on you tube with a 2,048,402 miles, to be exact look it up Chevy my truck. 5 stars

  • no Im not saying its because of the badge on the front its just that pos carb

  • no i was saying that because other people were saying its because it a Chevy but nice vidoe

  • man when those q-jets get tired they are a real pos. put that 2 bbl on there, bet she'll run like a new one!

  • point is its a CHEVY. wouldnt hav a problem with a dodge or ford

  • I once had a Dodge. I dodge any further opportunity to own one from that day on.

  • chevy never did anything bad to you!!!!!

  • loveing the plant growing out of the hood on the truck adds a nice touch

  • The motor sounds good, but that Q-jet is definitly a raging pile.

  • thats a lot of shit.

  • god that motor sounds so healthy when you rev it but that carb seems like a piece

  • lol brakes are for sissies that is an awsome statement

  • no affence but you say manure funny

  • no offense but your spelling sucks lol j/k

  • Nice video! 5 *****

  • nice

  • keep up the videos man nice
