Just bought a brand new maschine and loaded the cd program to install,after that was done i plugged the usb on my mac to the maschine unit usb and nothing! NO LIGHTS,NO NOTHING,STRAIGHT DEAD! I also noticed the usb on the maschine unit was lose and flimsy look like a cheap work & parts used...Registerd everything on ni website and i hope not to get the run around from them cause this really sucks if they do...BRAND NEW AND I GET THIS PROBLEM WITH OUT MAKING ONE BEAT! I FEEL RIPPED OFF!
@premo459 Customer service was prompt with me. If your a registered user, which if you have a maschine, you probably are, they usually take 2 - 3 days to reply via e-mail. I sent my maschine back 1 month ago and am still waiting. They are fixing it for free and taking care of shipping as well. However they did tell me it would take 2 weeks and that delays may happen. I started a trend on their forum with people telling me they've been waiting over 3 months. This will be my last NI product.

I bent up the prongs inside the USB on the hardware.... fkn sucks cuz now its now powering up properly.
Trying to email customer service... FAIL. Ima call next but... damn, gotta call Germany?
I should just be able to take it back to the store I bought it from... either wait or just get a replacement, let them refurb it.
