i don't know how he can sleep after what he did to her...he claimed that they couldn't reach their potential and this is why this partnership was over...in reality the only thing he wanted was to be always in the top 3, and he didn;t even care about maria and her future....it is so sad and i am so ashamed of the people that only care about themselves...every time i see this programme i burst into tears, only for maria....

@lutzig4 well, I heard they just never got along well and it's extremely important in pairs. I believe this partnership was tiring for both of them. Have you seen how much happier Maxim looks on the ice with Tatiana? I don't believe all he wanted was medals or money, I think he only wanted to skate with someone he likes or not skate at all. It is sad that Maria never found an appropriate partner, but sticking in this partnership would've been a torture for both.
