I first heard Float On in 2004. Saw the video actually. Thought 'What the fuck is this?' But I loved it, the hopeful message, the interesting sound. I bought the album and after the blast of horns I'm met with this contemplative stream-of-consciousness masterpiece. Amazing lyrics! Good News held so many answers. I have since devoured their catalog, seen them live, met them a few times. This bands music changed my life. Give them some kind of chance!
