And did you really buy a C2D lately?? I wouldn't have done that since the socket 775 is dying and there wont be any new CPUs to upgrade anymore. Right now you have 3 logical possibilitys:
1) Get some overpriced S1366 (NOT recommended)
2) Wait for the i5-Platform, which is promised to have a fair price (rather recommended)
3) Get an AMD Socket AM3 which currently offers you the best power for the money that you pay and it was just released so you can get new CPUs for a while. (recommended)
