How to jailbreak 3.1.2 firmware on ipod touch and iphone

is there any way that this will brick my ipod and if i get the freezing white screen or never ending load wheel will a simple restore in itune fix this?

oh and when the pop up comes up sayin you have jailbroken your iphone and with thethered you will need to run again to boot. does that mean with tehthered you have to run blackrain again right then to boot up your ipod?

@MattCupz If you iPod is frozen and it is recognized when plugged in than yes you can restore it.

Or you could try to re run blackra1n. For teathered when your iPod it powered down you simply plug it in and open blackra1n and click the make it rain button and it will basically say it's rejailbreaking but really it just powers ion and all your apps and stuff will still be on the iPod.

It does work however to makes your device teathrted. Which means if your iPod shuts off or like restart it will not turn back on untill you plug it into the computers and rerun blackra1n. So yes but with restraints
