@KoMAgrows Its called FUCK I MISSED if you MISS... Dont MISS and it wont grow "all fucked up"! With Topping you get 2 main chutes out of the topped one. With the FIM method you get 4 to 6 main chutes. Simple math du... If you want to increase yield check out super cropping (creating a fat knot on the stem to increase production above) and monster cropping (cloning from a flowered plant of at least 2 weeks old) Some stress to the plant at the right stage can actually be a good thing.

This is a method to use If u want less plants. U give them space and time w/this method if all u care about is weight and not numbers or qualitythen do your way if u even have one. @makis777ify yeah sure sun and water is all you need IF the soil you happen to be using is fertile, otherwise you have to make it fertile. and only using sun and water with "fertile" soil will work, but your flower quality will lack in comparison to what koma produces. this is because the manages every aspect of the plants habitat making it as otimal for plant development as possible. i mean fuck, you can argue with results!!
LST'ing worked amazingly well. Lower branches immediately responded with growth. Said F'it and topped ALL 64 tops .... there's now 128 bud sites - all doing well. Yup, got a burning bush going here ... lower branches (half of the 128) are still smaller, probably will alway be, but regardless .... "burning bushes man .... " ... yes, yes, rip the new node out. You'll know when to stop.
btw, i'm thinking next time, top right from the get-go and there shouldn't be anything but a canopy so no stunted growth on lower levels ... cuz there won't be any lower levels.

@miketak2007 As from my comment earlier, not that you are asking me ... I've got the top canopy at 32 nodes/bud sites ... each of the 32 should, all things being fair, develope a flower. I'm contemplating topping all the 32 to give 64 bud sites on the canopy however, the lower branches are being shaded from the canopy. I am lst'ing, contrary to the op's statements, and finding the lower branches are now getting more light and are growing .. not as fast but still .. anyway, top whenever possible.
Got 3 main branch pairs off the trunk: bottom pair with 8 bud sites each branch, next pair up, same, 8 sites on each branch. Top pair of branches off of the main trunk, a beautiful uniform canopy, 32 bud sites !!! I stopped topping the lower 2 branch sets because of light limitation ... growth is certainly stunted under the canopy. But all in all, 64 bud sites .. sure, half smaller but the top half ... hmm, ... must be patient Daniel-son.

if you let the plant grow taller before topping, the brances that are left will grow better. remove the top 6-10" of the plant and leave the bottom 12-18". this will encourage more branches that grow stronger.

if you let the plant grow taller before topping, the brances that are left will grow better. remove the top 6-10" of the plant and leave the bottom 12-18". this will encourage more branches that grow stronger.
