if you go the alternate route in the 2nd mission, you can do another mission which leads to the tank mission. also if you wait for the tanks commander to pop his head out , you can kill him instead of destroying the tank to complete the mission

I dont know about anyone else but i think the graphics were better on portable ops. But maybe its just that its on youtube and has to fit a bigger screen.

I'm glad you can now crouch walk and run with an rpg. Countless times in portable ops i've pulled out the rpg, been forced to stay on one spot and been a sitting duck.

7. Do it all over again in 3 years when the console is obsolete.

Pretty much the same as MGS4, and on top of that when you aim at an enemy it kinda locks on to them. So regardless you hit them. And don't worry it doesn't affect you headshot skills

But the PS3 controller is easier to use, more buttons and less sensitive for better aiming, PSP sucks to control the aiming rectule, auto aim feels cheap, it's like I'm cheating, I prefer shooting manually, I hope they fix everything in proper version.

I understand, but this game is designed for PSP not for PS3. I actually kind of like the controls, they are much better then MPO. So you can't really expect the game to compare to Home Console controls. But that's just my opinion.

Of course, it is designed for the PSP but yet I feel that they can be improved. The controls feel somewhat a bit too sensitive. If you have played the Syphon Filter games for the PSP, they manage to have perfect controls, MGS PW just seems a bit too complex. I thought MPO had good controls, you never used the camera much and it was FPS shooting, this game is great but the controls over complicate it, hopefully they should re-design the controls in the final version

This demo is bullshit unfortunately, the enemy AI sucks and the character models look so ugly, I mean Snake looked way sexier in Portable Ops but obviously this is just the demo, I'm sure the actual game will kick ass. Still a shame that they couldn't add proper cutscenes in the game.

I'm not digging the fact that the camera is controlled by the face buttons and not by the d-pad. I'm not too familiar (buying one for this though) with the PSP but isn't the D-pad above the analog stick, making it a hassle to control ducking and whatever with the d-pad?

Nope, it's really easy. You move about with the analog stick, and you can control the camera about with the face buttons which runs smoothly, then for the ducking and taking cover mechanics, a simple tap and Snake sticks into that position.

Sure, it's close by but it's not like your gonna dive in mid-air, turn 360 clockwise and land in cover, so it's easy and works really well.

Exactly, I mean why can't they stick to one control scheme? I mean, MGS4 was acceptable, they changed a damn lot but MGS4 was so easy that it made Mario look way tougher. But this is a PSP game, and they know that it hardly as any buttons but they still decide to go with a crazy new style. The story is insane enough but the controls just ruins the fun. I hope they release a more simple scheme. And I hope they change the circle button to the x since I keep pressing circle for non-Jap games now :P

Well you need the latest firmware for your PSP which you can just scan for via your PSP. The demo is roughly 200MB big so you need at least a memory stick with the minimum space of 512MB, the lowest you can get. Thats all
