Well, Maureen was about 17 years old (born 1956) in this clip and I'm assuming the college freshman, for example, was about 17-18 years old. I think these guys are around Maureen's age and just look older than they really are. Plus, when the dating game contestants went on their dates, they always had a chaperone with them whether they liked it or not. I imagine the chaperone on Maureens date didnt allow the guy anywhere near her.
