Todays community is ruled by Machinima and stupid OpticNation, all you see are kids trying to edit and be like everybody else. Be unique and dont copy, create your own color correction settings and find your own songs! Im sick of what this has turned into. All gaming is about now is people showing off, and fucking little kids .

Imagine you're out on the streets and you just follow someone wherever they go, and you get to a place you find interesting, like a hotel, and then you use the same route when you're alone without actually knowing where you're going, you won't really know the street name and all of the other stuff but the route is memorised.

People shouldnt do tutorials on game effects, they should get a a plugin for example and how to correctly use and apply in different situations. Thats what how I learn. I study a plugin or effect and learn how to apply it to situations eg colorista for grading real life footage. I now know how to grade correctly rather than adding colour curves

@HazardCinema It's cause people only watch tutorials and don't really know how to do things themselves. There are those people out there who actually STUDY video editing/motion graphics/digital media etc. And when they study it, they practice and UNDERSTAND the ideas, they grasp it, so that they can be creative all the time, whereas people on YouTube nowadays just know effects by watching tutorials or other montages. It's like a 'Monkey see, monkey do' effect.
