I have a 6 mm overbite when i bite with my back teeth but i can move my lower jaw forward enough for my bottom teeth to pass my top teeth.. so I guess I have a flexible jaw. But i HAVE been told that I need corrective surgery but I ignore it since I don't have any chewing or biting problems. I only have the overbite when I bite down with my back teeth, so when I smile I just have to keep my front teeth together. Good luck with the surgery, I saw that simply orange in your fridge XD yummmmm!
no worries lady, you're a pretty girl don't try to hide your mouth. Today, a lady complimented me on my smile and she said "a lot of people must tell you that you have a nice smile". I don't have pretty teeth. I have an underbite AND compacted teeth. Cheer up :) smile^
Im over 20 days in with the braces and I still cant chew shit really. You should look into getting a high quality blender like a vita-mix. That's how I consume 90 percent of my meals now. I made a video for a friend showin him how to hook up a basic smoothie, I'll upload it here later.
ive had braces for 2 years and have a slight underbite. at the moment im 18 and gonna get my surgery in about 6 months or so. believe me people really dont care and mind that you have braces cause you look absolutely fine with them. also dont worry about knocking the brackets of. they are way stronger than you think. braces do take a little getting use to but after a few weeks you'll forget they are there. anyways in the end it'll all be worth it!
