@elleng222 depends on what you're tunes you're talking about with sea level.check "grand larceny" "scarborough fair" rain in spain" "midnight pass" or "cats on the coast." he also was member of the allman bros. for 3 albums, check out his piano solo on "jessica."
@PhilDeeferSite you made this video? awesome !! i would have shat [past tense] in my pants!! i started playing the guitar in 1964 as an 8 year old when i saw the stones perform "it's all over now" on the red skelton show. THE pivotal moment of my life!! we heard "love me do" and "i wanna hold your hand" back then. all that bubblegum stuff. we were watching the stones on tv and my dad said, "my god!! it looks like they rolled off a garbage truck" and i thought "yeah!" still my favorite band!!
@elleng222 yes, it sounds very much like the late great ian stewart but it's chuck leavell who stewart personally recommended to be his successor in the stones.
Another fine example of SpiceFX transitions and effects for Movie Maker in use. Especially like the way picture-in-picture transitions were used to fly each clip image away. Also like the particle transitions used in one portion to disintegrate a few images.
This is a real sunday treat, Michael, a blue video with that true blue sound that puts me on a train traveling back to my favourite, smoky blue music pub, where I could feel the floor trembleling under my feet. Oh what a feeling, that real raw and true blues. Thanks for posting this, thumbs up & favourite!
@barbettemroe Hi Barbette! Thanks for those wonderful words. Always great to present songs from this band who is nearly unknown. Love this song and have been planned this video for awhile. The only problem is if its any copyrightsproblem or not. Difficult with Stones bacause of diffirent companys for every album. Mostly EMI/Virgin, if it like that its aload. Nice sunday. Michael
What a sound! Sounds almost like early sixties Stones. Hey Michael, the blues are meant to make one happy by exorcising all them blue demons brother. Hope you are well and HAPPY my friend. Pete

Thanks for the info. I still can't believe that's Chuck Leavell. He wasn't that great with Sea Level, though that's just my opinion.

Can tell what year this was recorded? Also, this sounds like Ian Stewart; am I right? Great video; as a TV tech, I can say nice job....
elleng222 3 months ago
@elleng222
It was recorded in 1989 and released as a b-side for
Mixed Emotion. It wasnt Ian Stewart on piano,
it was Chuck Leawell. Thanks for the nice words, my friend.
