There is a tiny time lapse, i don't think its that bad though. I have a £50 wacom tablet and it has no time lapse, maybe it was the program or somthing...or maybe im used to the slowness i don't know. =D

Shit taht was way too slow man. THe response time is too slow to ignore. I'm using a wacom graphire 3 and it is really good in latency. It sometimes struggles because the pc it is hooked up. And when that happens it makes me unable to draw most of the time, so Cintiq has this flaw as standart future I see, pitty. I hope the new 12'' version is better, gotta try it out. BTW, I hope the latency issue is the reason for the demo illustration being so shitty. Absolutely undrawable, I'm dissappointed.

u need to learn first how to use it...it's not like hand drawing ...u need to speed down a little

Sure it is not like hand drawing. But to speed down is not a good thing when it comes to draw dynamic lines, especially inking and such. I draw very quickly most of the time, you can't draw a straight line by slowing down. On second thought, it is actually almost impossible to speed down and making a good illustration, %85-90 the time you gotta be quick. Actually you gotta speed up compared to traditional drawing. Because if you don't do so, the lines would be distorted, wavy at some ocassions..

Because really its not that slow on a normal wacom tablet (Graphire4 is what i use)

Hi, the tablet have a slow response, that's true, but only if you compare it with a normal tablet or a simple mouse. I think, however, that the incredible interface you can receive using it will compensate the gap. However, maybe is better to try in a demo show-room before buy it...

theres no slow for a tablet to response. this one is because the software(illustrator)

it needs time 2 convert the lined u drew into vectors

@KrisMorrow the cintiq is actually not slow, see that he is using illustrator, if u draw a line in illustrator it pops up later because it first converts the line to a vector shape, view some photoshop videos, it responds perfectly
