Actually i hate golf games, even the thought that there are people out there buying and playing them. As a very young kid i found golf to be interesting to do with a stick and some rocks and nuts as balls for about 10 minutes. Which was the time when i pulled off a goal with one shot from many many meters. That was "golf" for me for my entire life. It can be played without stupid clothes/karts/expensive gear and country sized fields.

This game can't be golf because i find it a cute little game.

For a console in 1978, that's a neat piece of programming and the game looks like it's probably quite playable and fun. You have to admire those coders from the 70s and 80s, cramming so much into just a few kilobytes of RAM/ROM space.

played this for hours! still got it out in the garage somewhere... very under-rated .. makes you concentrate on play technique rather than graphics. BTW, you should have shown the fit the little man throws, pounding his club on the ground, when the ball hits a tree!
