  • Well, they may prounonce it Beth-LUH-hem, instead of Beth-LEE-hem, but they do seem to take the British pronunciation of "THE". And , I dont remember the bass part including the lower octave on the final chord. But, they do a great job of a lovely, tender piece, which has a sordid origin.

  • Great stuff!

  • Beautiful performance from the choral state! Some deep insights here - Peter Warlock is alive!

  • Great performance of one of the most beautiful Christmas carols. Musically this is right up there with Kings College. To my English ears though - Kings win because the American pronunciation of Bethlehem gets in the way of an otherwise perfect recording.

  • i sang this as a solo on saterday and am doing it again on friday

  • I'm just floored that I prefer this to the King's College Chapel choir - altho' they are what you might call the Rolls-Royce of the Anglican choral tradition.

    Well done, our American cousins.
