Philips DVD recorders from 2001-2005 are now all on the scrap heap.

Their first models the DVDR1000/ DVDR1000mk2/DVDR980 were all assembled with faulty lasers and Philips had to replace free of charge to all customers costing the company over a $1,000,000.

There are no known early models still in operation such as the DVDR1000 or DVDR1000 mark 2.

Think this would work if i hooked up my ps3 composite to the back of the imput and recorded gameplay onto the recorder ?
