the problem with comunism is that it suposse that just changing the name of a vertical government from "representative democracy" to "proletarian dictatorship" will make things better... but it doesn't make sense, if you want a real change in economy (structure), then you have to destroy the superstructure (State) too. so the only way of really changing things is to take everything down and rebuild it in a more democratic and horizontal way...

American bombing in Cambodia was targeting the NVA forces that would cross the border to hide from US troops. The Ho Chi Minh Trail ran parallel to the border for the entire length. We weren't bombing Cambodians, we were bombing the Vietnamese who were using the area as a safe harbor. US bombing in Cambodia had very little, if anything to do with the ascension of the Khmer Rouge.
