Vegas is an NLE. AE is a compositing and effects editor. If you want to compare a Adobe product to a Sony product it would be Premiere vs Vegas. Technically, Premiere is better than Vegas. But, Vegas is simpler, and I can afford it.

@henrindreca no using after effects, i also make intros and i have both vegas and after effects and i ONLY use after effects cause thats where the magic happens and vegas is for editing clips and adding sound. If you want to make really advanced intros check out after effects . Check my intros out and give me your thoughts :)

Haha, I love braproductions videos. They go through things so fast, but easy to understand. I HAVE NEVER used After Effects before and was looking for a tutorial - found this and now have a pretty good understanding of it.
