Advanced Midi Mapping in Native Intruments Traktor Pro 2 with Maschine

Hey, it seems like you know a lot about these programs so thought you'll be good to ask this question. I have maschine mikro and struggling a lil bit with less knobs i was wondering if I could use my external midi/USB keyboard to turn knobs in the maschine software like assigning my keyboard knobs and sliders to control parameters in maschine? If you are anyone else know how to do this please help!!

thx for sharing!!!! really usefull... have a question though: so i'm setting up the modifiers but i have to press the buttons twice or 3 times to turn on or off... why is that?

/and is it possible that when i press mod2 then it turns off the mod1 so like switches the hole pad to other functions... i think i kinda know how to do this/

@rigo1911 Maybe you have your mod buttons set as toggle. did you download the file you open with controller editor too?

You can change it so mod 2 turns off mod one but the point is to have mods 1,2,and3 selected to mirror what happens when you drag a loop from a track deck to a sample deck.

My Traktor 2 Bible is coming! Anyone who doesn't know what the Traktor Bible is seriously check it out. (Google it). Basically it will help you with most questions when working with Traktor 2, midi mapping, syncing, etc. You might even become as smart as DJ Divine Justice.

when you setup each hot cue at the bottom where it says "set to value" you have make each one different

well. The problem that i have is that when i trigger the pad i dont get the results that i want... I cant control the hot cue points because if i push the pad more than one time then i got more than one cue poin seted up... What could be happening ?

hey man , a question, how in the holy hell do you manage to make the hot cues work in the maschine, i've expend the whole night fighting against it but i lost the battle... please can you tell me what did you put into the traktor and maschine editor please, thx a lot

@richix70 In the controller editor you want all the pads for hotcues to be type "notes" in "gate" mode. In Traktor you add In "Select/Set+Store Hotcue", Learn in to a pad, then add out the same "Select/Set+Store Hotcue" so you can get some led feed back. Repeat this for as many hotcues as you want. On all you hot cues add a condition of M1=0. Add in Modifier 1 and midi learn that to the erase button. Add in "delete hotcue" and map those to the same pads as the hotcues and add a condition of M1=1

@djDivineJustice Hey man you mappings are awesome.... but i stlll cant figure out how to get the leds/delete hotcues working...i did everything in your response to richix70.....do i map the "add outs" to the same pad as the "add-ins"??? And i dont understand the modifiers....sorry for the noob questions thanks
