my great uncle had a recording machine in 1940 and he made a recording of my father singing this song , he was eight years old . must have been a hit that year , thank you !!!!
My Grandmother used to sing this song to my sister and I when we were young. Brings such great memories back from the past

I used to listen to Gracie Fields all of the time back in the 30's and 40's. She is truely amazing.
