Further, Clinton damages his own legacy -- rather than going out with the aura of success we will now recall what a small-minded and overly ambitious man he is, who will do anything to return to the seat of power.

If a politician stays just on the inside of the line they can throw a lot of mud gaining more than they lose. If the voters would put their foot down in mass we could put a stop to it but I don't see that ever happening.
