  • Omggggg!!!!!!!!!! :D

  • After school I'm makin 1

  • Omg i have to ttry this!!! xD

    Where's the written instrustions btw?

  • I only just need the glue gun and the paint and then the other Elmer's glue you used in the beginning THANKS I LOVE THIS I'm going to make mine in purple and gold

  • Luv this

  • This is just really amazing! I'm 13 years old and i love all of you videos! I made a Lumos Wand, with a wand box and a ink pot with quill for my little brother, and he absolutely loved it! So, thank you soooo much!

  • nice i might try it

  • omg thank you so much i love you (not in gay form) you really rock men !!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hey you sound Canadian? nice video by the way.

  • it doesnt even look like its made out of paper anymore XD thats really amazing!!

  • may i use regular glue cuz i dont have a gun

  • @merryalis It would have to be quick drying very thick glue

  • what if you don't have a glue gun

  • @SweetALIish You need very thick, quick drying glue for this

  • The black gives it an aged look, but you could use whatever colour you want :)

  • You are good !

  • THIS IS AMAZING!!!

  • dang thats a lot of hot glue.

  • my daughter and I will happily make these for folks, send your orders to cruiscinlan's channel!

  • Super creative! love it! thank you so much!!! XD

  • i just fineshed making a harry potter wand the disine came out awesome

  • I don't have a hot glue gun, would white glue be able to replace all the hot glue steps?

  • awesome! =) i like using wood & clay for mine, and next time im going to try some of the painting techniques you tried cause theyre really cool! great vid! :)

  • @ClubPenguin7705 Thank you for the suggestion, I will try to come up with something soon :)

  • I noticed that the news paper had a word that said s*x abuse or s*x accused its bad I know

  • @ Mrdillan64, it would but I would suggest that construction paper would do it because it is much more dense, giving the wand less flimsyness

  • Would a normal A4 white piece of paper work?

  • @MrDillon66 Yes :)

  • @yoyomax12 Thanks for your quick reply! By the way nice video, its hard though! lol

  • @yoyomax12 do we have to use black or can we use any color really ?

  • how long did it take for the glue in the bigger end to harden

  • @TheLoveyourlook About an hour

  • @yoyomax12 ok thank youx

  • You use awful lot of glue

  • Excellent tutorial! I just made my first wand today and it turned out much better than I expected! The only deviation I made from your instructions was to use lollipop sticks inside instead of the dowel. Perhaps I'll create a video response to show everyone. The whole process only took about two hours start to finish, with the wand being fully made and a base coat of paint being applied in the first hour. Thanks again!

  • @bwatson009u If you make a tutorial let me know so that I can watch it :)

  • I'm making these for me and my friend for Halloween! I'm being a death and she's being a witch. XD We're gonna have a duel in the hallway. It's gonna be awesome.

  • this is an amazing craft!:)

  • hahaha nice headline on the newspaper great tutorial its simply perfect. i have all the materials except that huge dowel

  • This is fantastic! I love seeing all of the different materials people come up with for making props.

  • i painted mine with blue nailpolish lol

  • For your harry potter wands, instead of using newspapers can I use paper clay?

  • your video is AWESOME !!!!

  • Anyways, thanks a ton for making these vids. I'm going to use some of your tutorials to make my own accessories to dress up as Bellatrix this year :3 (Boy am I going to have fun imitating that hairstyle, seeing I have short blond hair...maybe I'll buy a wig x3)

  • when you put the wand in the box,you should also detail the box. it then looks cool.

  • didn't think of that when i did wands for my kids....although paper would have been much easier...i used a wooden dowel and a dremel to carve it with and then clear coated the wood...going to see if i can rough sand it to black coat it and gold leaf over it...that was a very nice effect

  • that is so cool i am not a big fan of harry potter but i am of wizard101 but the performance was amazing nice job!

  • I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOU!!!!!!! I LOOOOOOOVE HARRY POTTER!!! But the wands are too expensive for me :D I'm so gonna make mine red >:D

  • i mead one it looks great thanks for the video on how to make one

  • Mr.Voldemort didn't really need to kill Severus Snape or Albus Dumbledore to get the Master/Elder wand, Voldemort just needed to watch this helpfulland wonderful video :D

  • Nice wand it came out perfect!

  • Thanks yoyomax 12, made a wand today with my friend and it went really really well!

  • hey how are you

I was watching your video "wow" you are amazing!!!!.

I have a question on a video that you make, which was called the wizard wand craft. in the video that you were painting the wand black, can it be wachable paint ?

  • That is brilliant! I tried making one, but i made one completely black.

  • the blue and black on top looks so cool!

  • @8DreamBig8 Thanks! :)

  • It took me a while to realized the music came from your video near the end! XD

  • @PammieChan :) !!

  • Can you make me one and send it to me pleasee???

  • @linkxzeldaforever1 Sorry but no

  • i made one but it sux :)

  • thnx for the tut :)

i made my first wand and now i really enjoy making them.

    really apprieciate it :D

  • @8missJZ8 Your wands are much better than what I could make, very nice!

  • @187Newgirlz :O !!!

  • awesome!!!!!:)

  • @websecrets1 Thank-You! :)

  • so realistic! i like it im gonna try it tomorow! maybe

  • @dianaoana2001 Thank-You! :)

  • does the wash have to be black or can it be any dark color?

  • @trishaj73240 Any colour you'd like

  • Hi yoyomax12. Im not trying to be mean but maybe the wand should be a little bit thinner because it looks too thick! It looks awesome though!

  • @Angus1397 Don't think you are mean :) I agree it would have been better a bit thinner. Thanks for watching.

  • @yoyomax12 Thank you for replying!!

  • NICE

  • @UncleSam1996 Thank-You! :)

  • hey yoyomaz12 could i posiibly use wood glue instead of a hot glue gun as long as it dries fine?

  • @19metallicafan86 Yes :)

  • Dear Ms. yoyomax12,

It has come to our attention that on 31 January 2010, you released information to the Non-Magical community regaurding the manufacturing of magic wands, in direct violation of Clause 13 of the International Statue of Secrecy. A representitive from the Department of Magical Law Enforcement has been dispatched to your address for an emergency memory removal and to destroy your wands.

    Hoping you are well,

    Kingsley Shacklebolt

    Minister of Magic

  • @Slytherin128 lol!!!

  • kjdsnfdkjsnfdjksfndsklfd........ Oh. MY. GOD!!!.

    AMAZING!

  • @katherinesilen Thank-You! :)

  • Omg!! That's so cool can't believe it started with a piece of paper!!

  • @maegranil3 Thank-You! :)

  • Mrs. Ollivander ;)

  • @Cellox987456 awwww!! Thanks

  • wow, that's the best wand craft i've ever seen! seriously!!

  • @clubcow1 Thank-You! :)

  • @TheIncognito62 I do remember those cones! They would be perfect for this

  • yay i made a wand :)

    thank you <333

  • @bluegreen123100 Great! Happy it turned out

  • Can you use PVA glue instead of the glue gun? If you can't then I'm gonna have to buy a glue gun! :)

  • @KingAdiKhan The glue has to be very thick so it doesn't drip off when you apply it

  • where can i get the "clear coat"?

  • @8missJZ8 I found it at a craft store, but it is also sold at hardware stores as well

  • @yoyomax12

thnx also what type of glue should i put in a hot glue gun? lol sorry if i seem dumb :P

  • @8missJZ8 There are special sticks of glue you put in them

  • Hmm Got all the stuff needed. In the process of making it...mine = fail!

  • @AlexAndJoshSkyHigh Keep trying, you'll get it

  • @yoyomax12 I made two and they're both....UGLY. One question: how do you fold the paper so....GOOD?

  • @AlexAndJoshSkyHigh Practice makes perfect :)

  • Hmm....If I used a Gold colored glue stick instead of painting it, would it work?? Reply soon PLEASE!

  • @AlexAndJoshSkyHigh I don't think so, put it's only paper and glue so if it doesn't work no biggie

  • Do you think it's possible to use white glue, instead of hot glue? Or would that not work? Because I have white glue, but no hot glue or a gun.

  • @AlexAndJoshSkyHigh the glue needs to be thick enough not to run and drip when you are applying it and turning it.

  • OMFG That's so.....so....

    GENIUS!

  • @AlexAndJoshSkyHigh Thank-you!

  • You can buy wands at the Wizarding word of Harry Potter at Universal Studio's Islands of Adventures in Orlando. they're $30 each :P But this is cool, too!

  • @vr0lijK This video is for those who can't afford to travel to Florida and pay admission to Universal Studios and then come up with the $30 for the wand, lol.

  • @yoyomax12 XD, I can't afford it, too. And the wands of Universal are probably made in China. -,- It's much cooler to create you own one. But i don't have a glue gun. :(

  • Im not sure which wand I would prefer to make, the lumos wand or the normal wand. I think I can only make one so which would you suggest? :D

  • @iJayzon the lumos wand is much more interesting, but a lot more difficult. I suggest you start with the plain wand and they try the lumos one.

  • this is awesome

  • @ThePaulads Thank-you! :)

  • That's wonderful. Are these durable enough to handle a dance? I'm imagining we'd just be waving them around a bit and holding them as a prop.

Please answer. All the wands I found online are ether too expensive or clunky or fragile. These seem great.

  • @ukelele85 Just waving them around while dancing would be fine I think. The addition of the piece of wood in the center really helps stiffen it.

  • @yoyomax12 That's what I was thinking. If I have enough time, I could probably make a couple of spares--just in case anyone decides to do something stupid with them. Thanks.

  • beautiful!!!!!!

  • but it's better :D:D:D

  • @RedEyesLuffy lol thanks!

  • @yoyomax12 :D

  • can i youse something els then a hot glue gun like silikon?

  • Rip off of BFX not cool dude not cool

  • @RedEyesLuffy I don't know what BFX is, this is a rip off of a craft I found on Dadcando(dot)com like I say in the description. I doubt that either of these people invented rolling a tube of paper and putting glue and paint on it.

  • this is so cool.... im gonna try it for my cousins b-day wich is today

  • @toothless555 Hope it turned out okay!

  • @carolynnoel1409 Thank-you! :)

  • How much glue do you go thru in a week?

  • @Voltronkun lol, quite a bit.

  • just want to check what it was that you sprayed onto the wands at the end? awesome tutorial =]

  • @chissar It is a clear spray sealer, kind of like varnish to protect the paint

  • if we want a thinner wand do we just roll it up even tighter?

  • @unitelittlemonsters i tried and rolled it up tighter and it worked for me.

  • @unitelittlemonsters Yes exactly, or start the angle differently, you made need to experiment a bit to get it the way you want

  • did you do this outside, 'cause you said it was windy and if you were inside you could just close the windows. lol

  • @unitelittlemonsters It was outside :)

  • is it possible to use normal white glue instead of a hot glue gun for filling up the wand/

  • @unitelittlemonsters White glue would take several days to dry inside the wand, but it may work

  • yoyomax you know the white glue would that work like the glue gun?

  • @TheAndrew179 You need very thick glue (like glitter glue or fabric puffy paint) otherwise it will just drip off.

  • @yoyomax12 Haha my sister said "get glitter glue it will look better" and i went NO I WANT NORMAL GLUE lol

  • @AronBourke15 Sure, I think that would be fine

  • thank you so much i love harry potter

  • @greendancer78 You are welcome :)

  • Can I do it with UHU twist & glue?

  • @nemesvok42 You could glue the wand together with it, but the details on the wand can't be made with a uhu stick

  • O my God thank you soo much!!

  • @harrypfreak101 You are very welcome, thanks for watching

  • Its funny how u say, "now ur going to let that dry" (1 second later,) ONCE IT IS DRY,,,

  • @TheSlytherinPride lol, the magic of editing

  • looks cool but i have another way of doing it ill send you the directions if you want

  • @101greenleaf Sure! My email is my username(at)gmail(dot)com

  • i collect official harry potter wand replicas, but i wanted to make my own and it looks good! ive made 3 so far!! its a very simple and genius idea

  • @JoeAndTeddy Amazing what you can make with paper and glue :)

  • but cool wand :)

  • to make a real wand use oak branch and put silver wireing and a cristal on the end

  • @ratedRcooking I'm sure that a wooden one would be much nicer.

  • Wow!!!! Thank you for teaching me how to make a wand. They do not sell this in our country. Thank you! I am now off to buy the materials needed.

  • @kentenhero thanks for watching!

  • the idea is great !!!<3 harry potter is my favorite movie! thanks for the idea!!! :)
